Left an envelope with an address and keys to an apartment which I didnt book and spent an hour looking for it in the dark with no map. I had to leave my 6 year old and elderly family waiting on the street. The hosts didnt answer the phone and it was only 8.30pm. At 3.30am a man was thumping on the door trying to get into the apartment. Next day didnt get the correct keys till 4.15pm so wasted a day of our holiday! Apartment was noisy, surrounding restaurants dont close till 2-3am. No place to hang clothes, no soap and no air conditioning. Didnt sleep for the week which had a negative impact on the whole trip. The only positive experience was the view.

Okay room

Good things: The location and the room itself were quite okay in the end. There were six of us. Bad things: There was no air conditioning, and there were only glasses and cups for four people. Extra towels were available only for an additional fee. There was a washing machine, but no detergent. There was detergent for the dishwasher. The cold water pressure in the shower was really poor; we had to wait for minutes before the pressure increased and it was okay. We had to buy our own toilet paper, as there were only three rolls when we arrived. There were no instructions in the room, so we didn't even know where to take the trash. We received only one key for the room. When we picked up the key, we were promised an additional key from the cleaner, but the next day we were told we wouldn't get one, which made things significantly more difficult. There was no interim cleaning (which, to be fair, was fine with us).
