Great facility. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. My first interaction was with Grand Coastal Hotel driver, Romel who was very welcoming and a wealth of knowledge. I would definitely recommend GCH and look forward to returning.

I had the opportunity to stay at grand costal for the past week and it was amazing experience. From checkin to checkout was seamless. The property is in an excellent location that allows you to experience both city and country activities. The staff was a friendly and attentive at all times. The restaurant have a variety of cuisines and everything I tried was delicious. Thank you to David, Dave, Romel, Umadai, Jamal, Kevin, Thalia, Vanessa and Freguson for catering for our big group needs. I’m summary my stay at the Grand Coastal Hotel was a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel’s location is ideal — just a short drive from town, but far enough away to offer a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. The hotel grounds are lush, beautifully maintained, and give off a serene vibe, making it a perfect escape. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a blend of modern comfort and tropical charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch — everything from the air conditioning to the free Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The views from the room were stunning, overlooking the lush landscape and busy roadway which I loved. Dining at the hotel was a delight. The restaurant offered a variety of delicious dishes, with local Guyanese flavors blending seamlessly with international options. I like the bigness of the VIP balcony room but the bath tub was too difficult to climb in and out and the tub water wasn’t draining properly. Despite repeated requests to pump it so that the water can flow easily it wasn’t done

The hotel has a good presentation outside. Dinning and bar is nice. The breakfast we had on the first day was good. The room we stayed in though needs major renovations. We booked for 3 nights and ended up only staying there one night.

The Amazing Grand Coastal Hotel

This was my second stay at Grand Coastal and I’ll definitely return. The staff were friendly and professional. Communicating with staff, prior to my arrival and during my stay, was excellent. Cleanliness of the facility was impressive. All staff were courteous and very helpful; Romel, Visham, David, Cheryl, Ryan, Ferguson were exceptional. The food was delicious and I gained a few pounds. The only amenity missing was the gym. I would encourage the owner to replace the gym which was at this facility during my previous stay. A smaller gym would definitely be an asset for many visitors.

The staff provided exceptional service, and the food quality was excellent; however, the pricing was somewhat excessive. Alternative dining options are readily accessible via taxi. Street noise levels were high, but quieter accommodations are available in rooms located towards the rear of the hotel. Consider contacting hotels directly to request a room in a quieter location. Overall, the establishment is charming, and the staff's friendliness and helpfulness were outstanding.

I highly recommend the Grand Costal. The rooms offer comfortable accommodations at reasonable prices. The exceptional staff is a significant highlight; from the check-in desk to the bartenders, waitstaff, and housekeeping, every employee provided outstanding customer service. My only minor critique is the pool's location directly in front of the bar and waiting area, though I understand renovations are underway to address this. While the on-site food is delicious, it is overpriced; I suggest Sunny and Sweetie for a more affordable and authentic culinary experience nearby. However, I would absolutely stay at the Grand Costal again due to its intimate size, exceptional service, and cleanliness.

Another Great Stay at Grand Coastal!

From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. Romel, who picked us up from the airport, was punctual, professional, and great to chat with. Tomika, our server, made us feel like family with her warm personality, engaging small talk, and great local recommendations. Her friendliness added a special touch to our stay. Kevin was also fantastic—easygoing, attentive, and kind when taking our orders. The rooms were clean, the staff was welcoming, and overall, we had another amazing stay. This was our second visit, and Grand Coastal continues to impress. Looking forward to coming back again!
