Food in restaurant not great - raw patty. Food in late night cafe awful with terrible service. Stir fried rice was raw / hard - like it came out of a bag - putting raw rice in hot oil is not how you make fried rice - it does not work that way. Broke a tooth. Wasted money - no refund or credit. Entire meals were awful. Limited machines. Needs updating. Prices too high for experience.

This place is three stars at best. The good: the rooms are very clean, and parking is free. The bad: this was the hottest room I’ve ever stayed in. It was 81 degrees while trying to sleep, and maintenance basically told us that’s just how it is. So your options are either open the window and freeze all night, or keep it closed and sweat. It was so hot my deodorant literally felt melted. Just insane. The food options on property are alap awful — easily the worst hotdog I’ve ever had in my life. The casino itself is small and a bit dated. If prices are comparable elsewhere, I can’t imagine staying here again. I’d definitely choose somewhere else next time.

The room was clean. It was very quiet on our floor. The Elevator was not secure. We did not need to use our card to get the elevator to go to our floor. Coffee in the room was nice but only 3 pods for two people that like coffee.

The room I stayed in had a faucet that was very loose. When turning the water on or off, it felt like it would break loose. One staff member at the front desk was yawning and seemed brusque in answering questions. She did not have a name tag.

There were no hangers in the closet. The safe didn't work. There were not enough towels. After I called front desk to get these things fixed, nothing happened. AND, on Nov 16th (obviously a different reservation), I mistakenly left a pair of boots in the room and housekeeping did not turn them in to Lost and Found. I WILL NOT stay at the Horseshoe Blackhawk again.
