** THIS CABIN IS ONLY ACCESSIBLE BY BOAT. You must bring your own boat or rent one locally.
Peaceful, secluded, rustic lake cabin located on Drayton Island in Georgetown Florida. Quiet and relaxing natural surroundings.
I am the new owner of this property. I am currently making improvements and will continue to improve the property. I am working to make this property as easily accessible as possible for anyone who wants to come here. I am also working to keep fees to a minimum to make it more affordable. I live on the Island as well and manage the property personally. I also own a waterfront property on the mainland that is my personal private access to the island. The mainland property allows me to offer private parking and lake access to the island house so you do not have to locate alternative parking. The docks on the mainland and on the island are shared docks between myself and my guests. There is plenty of dock space on either side. You may or may not see myself or my other guests commuting between the island and mainland. No worries though, if you don't want to be bothered no one will bother you. My goal is for a guest to be able to launch their boat at the free public boat ramp located next to the Drayton Island Ferry, then park at my mainland property where you can leave your vehicle and boat trailer in a safe place and load up your passengers and gear and go straight across to the island. The boat ramp, mainland property and the island house are all within 2-3 minutes drive by boat or car. I will e-mail detailed instructions on how to find the boat ramp and parking/island access after reservations are made. You do not have to use my parking accommodations to rent the cabin. There are other marinas and campgrounds etc nearby if you would like to find your own.

*You can launch your boat at the public boat ramp and navigate less than 2 min to the mainland side private dock to pick up your passengers and head to the island. The cabin is about a 2-3min ride from the mainland. There are a few small marinas nearby which have gas, bait and tackle.
*The cabin is 2 bedroom and 1.5 baths. There is also a sleeper sofa in the common area. The house can sleep 6 people comfortably. It is air conditioned and fully furnished with full kitchen, laundry and a huge screened in front porch. Beautiful grounds with relaxing and scenic views of the lake from the front porch or out on the dock. There is a grill outside and large outdoor table for gathering outside under the trees. Tasteful outdoor lighting for evening activities outside. There is a fire pit that can be used as long as there are no local burn bans in effect. This cabin is perfect for fishing getaways or tournament stays or as a lodge for hunting locally. Biker groups are welcome also. This is a great place to stay to visit the local springs or just for a quiet or romantic weekend get away. Come and be surrounded by old Florida nature and wildlife. Deer, turkey and other critters often come to eat in the evening during the summer months. Enjoy quiet peaceful nights and see the stars without all of the city noise and lights. Hop in your boat late in the day and ride out on the lake to see amazing sunsets.
*Some dates may be blocked out for renovations to upgrade the cabin and grounds or for owners personal use.
