Tall east‑facing windows frame the forest, letting soft winter light spill across the loft‑style chalet. After a day of exploring the trails, steam rises from the private hot tub while the fire pit glows, creating a perfect moment of calm under the stars.



Sleeping arrangements

Two bedrooms each hold a queen bed, dressed with fresh linens, extra pillows, and blankets for cozy mountain nights. The layout comfortably sleeps four guests.



Kitchen & dining

A full kitchen provides everything you need for a quiet breakfast before a hike or a relaxed dinner after a day outdoors. A spacious deck with a BBQ grill extends the dining area into the forest setting, and a dining table inside keeps everyone together.



Outdoor living

Step onto the deck to feel the forest surround you. The private hot tub offers warm relief after cold adventures, and the fire pit invites evening gatherings. A collection of yard games adds playful options for kids and adults alike. The backyard is open and not fully fenced, so keep an eye on pets. Free on‑site parking is available for your convenience.



Work and comfort

A dedicated workspace in a separate room with its own door lets you focus when needed, while fast WiFi and a Roku‑enabled TV support both work and leisure. Heating keeps the cabin comfortable during colder months, and window AC is ready for warmer days.



Pet policy

The cabin is pet‑friendly for dogs, and families with children feel right at home. Cats are not allowed due to allergies.

Forest Haven sits in Gerrardstown, a short drive from Berkeley Springs’ shops and restaurants, the historic river town of Harpers Ferry, and Winchester’s breweries and wineries. Nearby hiking trails provide year‑round access to the surrounding landscape.



Additional notes

An indoor fireplace is present but currently broken and decorative only. Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival; you may still notice leaves, pollen, or similar natural traces, especially in certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature leaves its mark.
