Could be much better

It is the old adage "you get what you pay for". The hotel needs to renovate and clean itself up. The mattresses need to be replaced based on the one I slept on. It is in a good location, just needs to reinvest some monies into it.

Convenient location

This hotels meets the expectations of an average hotel. It is clean and the staff was friendly. We have stayed here before while visiting Gettysburg and we knew that it was located in a convenient place for us. We would recommend this hotel to visit Gettysburg and it is very close to the Gettysburg Family Restaurant!

When we checked in we didn't know there was major renovation going on. We were given a room on the 2nd floor and we almost gagged the chemical smell was so bad. I know it was because of the renovations but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. My wife has serious challenges with out of the ordinary odors. We were glad they were pretty much done by the next day.

It is not the Taj Mahal, but it had everything I wanted, including a good breakfast, at a very reasonable price. They are currently renovating some rooms, which will make it even nicer. Its easy to find on hiway 30. I would stay there again.

Close to historical sites, easy access to route 15, friendly front desk staff, easy check in, only here one night but plan on coming again. Stayed here a few years ago and will come back again. They are updating the hotel as well.
