Elegant authentic 19th century character barn carefully restored nestled in a quiet "backyard", a stone's throw from the surrounding countryside & the first vineyards, in the heart of a peaceful residential area adjoining the heart of the village. An old fortified village with the remains of the ramparts, famous for its AOC (flagship of the Côtes Chalonnaise, the favorite wine of King Henry IV according to legend) & its very rich listed heritage, the charming wine town of Givry has many amenities such as rich leisure facilities including the "Acrogivry" Park (the largest treetop adventure park in Burgundy, one of the largest Adventure parks in France!) and benefits from a magnificent landscaped setting, nestled in the hollow of a bucolic valley preserved by vineyards & meadows surrounded by vast national forests. Spacious gîte with very good comfort. Beautiful living room with an imposing "cathedral" volume, bathed in light by a large bay window in the location of the old carriage entrance. Warm country character with contemporary accents of "country chic" spirit, enhanced by the rich traces of the original building (exceptional stone flagstone floor, stone walls and lintels, beams and framework, wooden lintels, etc.).
