Stayed one night for a night out. Got a twin room. Everything was clean. As it's a youth hostel it is basic accommodation but the staff were nice and friendly and the bedding was clean. Would stay here again if going for a night out.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The room was basic but good and the hostel is a fine place to spend time.
This was a great place to stay to explore the area around the University of Glasgow. The rooms are clean and their is a luggage storage room for after you check out.
Excellent city hostel, good central location for access to city and local park museum and university.
Excellent kitchen area, fridges very good, separate dining area. 2 lounges with exceent space. Drying room excellent
This is a great hostel! The location is convenient for visiting Glasgow's west end and Kelvingrove Museum and park as well as Glasgow University. Its location is quiet and beautiful. The services and amenities are well-organized and clean. I would stay here again. The only negative would be that the walls can be thin and you may hear people in the next room. However, I found that people respected the 10 pm limit on any noise.
Staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were the nicest I’ve ever stayed in a hostel. Plenty of communal rooms with books/tv/etc and the self-serve kitchen was well stocked and clean.
Excellent place to stay, beautiful area with easy transport options, friendly helpful staff, well equipped kitchen - all at great prices! Couldn’t ask for more.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Okay for the price, lack of electrical outlets and broken laundry machines/electronics in common area’s.
Perfect stay for visiting Glasgow, and the OVO Hydro Arena, just the beds were very small, better book a room for 4 and use it with 2 people, as a double bed.
a beautiful, elegant building; and a good self-catering kitchen; and a nice touch of providing hot drinks in the reception area, so that it was very welcoming.
A simple room but it had everything that I needed for my stay. The property/room was warm, very well maintained and clean. The staff were very helpful and polite. I'd certainly stay at this location again. Top marks all round.

Very quiet. Across from Kelvingrove Park. Nice location.
Great hostel, proper kitchen with utensils.
Sitting room TV .
Good safe location.
Rooms, dorms not great for charging up tech more power points or adapters needed .
We are so dependent on tech for travel and communication.
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for the Slipknot concert and it was a really enjoyable stay :) very homely and the area its in is very nice and pretty quiet overall.
Staff were friendly and up for a chat, free coffee and filtered water at the front desk made the mornings very relaxed.
Rooms give you all you need but nothing more, can't really complain with that.
Overall we both found ourselves agreeing that we would stay again if the opportunity arised.
Beautiful location overlooking Kelvingrove Park, very convenient for the university, museums and getting into the city centre. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of space in self-catering dining room. Lounge looking out over the park, and another with a table tennis table. Second floor room was a little chilly in spite of the radiator working hard, but the shower worked and everyone was clean and good. Good value for money.
Great value hostel in a lovely building, my single room was quite big and I was a bit disappointed by the lack of table as there was enough space but it wasn't a big setback. Beware its location is a bit further out from central Glasgow but wonderful if you want to be right by Kelvinbridge Park. Also the 4pm check in time is a bit later than normal so that was inconvenient. Otherwise no huge issues though.
