Amazing

We stayed overnight for my birthday, on arrival they gave us a bottle of Prosecco which I thought was so nice! We stayed in the penthouse suite so the view was amazing with a wrap round balcony! The rooms are big and the bed is so comfy! Definitely will be back

Terrible stay. The room was filthy. A room on the penthouse floor. Dust thick on the wardrobes, surfaces and even the coat hangers! No air conditioning and the room was roasting. Arrived back at the hotel at 10:40pm to be told the bar was closed and to go to reception for a drink. No apology offered. At reception there were minimal drinks on offer and no glasses! I was offered a champagne glass to pour in a can of strawberry gin! Shocking. Do not stay here!

We had a nice overnight stay here after traveling from the US. We were recommended by the front staff to eat at The Butterfly and the Pig. We were met with traditional music and great food. It was a perfect start to the trip.

I’m an American and found everything very good except no air conditioning and no top sheet for the bed — it was too hot for the duvet but a light sheet would have been nice as the night cooled. Also, I had to climb on the chair to retrieve the fan which was exceeding dusty. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great and those were the two things I needed most

The hotel was absolutely amazing and the staff was lovely. The room was perfect. The coffee machine at the entrance was a lovely touch and tasted great. So much of the machines taste yuck but for £1 coffee was excellent value. Would 100% go back. I have MS so would have preferred to be closer to shops but thats because my walking isnt great. For those who dont have mobility issues its within walking distance of so much places. But ubers were super fast picking us up so it wasnt an issue. And if you have a family or like more room with room with kitchenette, sofa (sofa bed) more single chair, a long area with huge mirror that lit up was great for doing makeup or if you wanted to do some work. Fab hotel

Staff were very welcoming when we arrived, my daughter really needed the toilet on arrival and a member of staff gave us a pass to access a toilet before we had checked in, thank you!! The bed was super comfy, we had a great nights sleep! The room was a lot bigger than we expected, I would definitely come back in the future.

Overall ok but expected more

Hotel room was excellent, very clean, and bathroom spotless. For a 4* hotel would have expected water in the fridge and maybe moisturiser or lotion as an amenity. Room was really warm, there was no aircon although a fan was already provided in the room and the windows did open but was still uncomfortably warm. Breakfast was not worth the additional cost. Small selection and most of the hotplate items were hard or rubbery. 1 small coffee machine so took ages to get a drink. Parking was round the corner in a nearby multi-storey - it is a very compact building and large cars I would imagine it would be tight
