    Welcome to our House on the Hill in historic Glen Rose, Texas. Although our home is centrally located in town and minutes from most local attractions, you’ll be secluded and up on a hill where you can overlook nature. From board games to Cornhole to a firepit for making smores, we have thought of everything!
    This is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom ranch style home. There is a large living room area, a game room, a fully equipped kitchen, two large dining tables, a washer and dryer, and even a fenced yard perfect for young children and dogs.
    The master bedroom has a king bed and private bathroom. There are three additional bedrooms. One offers a king bed, one has a queen bed and a third bedroom with a full size bed and twin bed. There are two additional bathrooms. The game room offers two full size futons perfect for younger guests.
    The home sleeps 9 but we are happy to try to accommodate larger groups when possible.
    This home is 3 minutes from the Somervell County Expo center and even offers room for parking a horse trailer or hooking up an RV, too!
    You’ll be close to a variety of attractions, including the Somervell County Expo Center, the Paluxy River, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Dinosaur World, Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, The Promise, and the Squaw Valley Golf Course.
    We would love to make your family feel right at home in Small Town Texas in our House on the Hill.

    Great stay in Glen Rose

    We were in town with friends for the weekend to see The Promise. The property had plenty of room for us to all spread out and several options for the kids regarding entertainment. We enjoyed watching the sunrise in the living room while sipping coffee. Several special touches throughout the home and a few extras that we didn’t expect. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals. We loved the pool table/air hockey/ping pong table. Had a great time! Great hosts!

    Great stay! Country house 5 minutes from town.

    Great stay in a big house that easily fits 8-9 adults in 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Hardware store, groceries, restaurants are only a few minutes away. 7 deer were in the yard when we drove up. Nice small fenced area for the dog. It's on several acres so there's lots of space for sitting outside or walking around. Super clean.

    Perfect place for a group to explore Glen Rose area

    Eight of us from our W TX Christian Singles group enjoyed exploring Dinosaur Valley, the Creation Museum, The Promise evening musical then Granbury StoneWater church before heading back west. There were deer on the vrbo property when we drove up. We enjoyed meals, games & comfortable visiting at the house. Dined at the Riverhouse Grill & Babe's Chicken. Plenty of sleeping options with good privacy. All thought this was an excellent stay in an excellent home. Hope to come back.
