A unique private estate, rich in history and natural beauty. The home was the residence of Benjamin F. Butler, the colorful Civil War general and Massachusetts governor, still belonging to his descendants. Enjoy fifty-five rolling acres of meadows, forest, marsh grass, and rocky granite shoreline, with a white-sand crescent beach, and a flat mica beach.
You will have use of the Main House (5BR) and the Maids Quarters (2BR), which is a separate, private residence, with a separate entrance.
During your stay at this vacation home, you'll be within walking distance of Plum Cove Beach. Enjoy features like laundry facilities. The vacation home includes amenities such as free WiFi and a kitchen.
