Really bad

We reserved and paid for the King Premium room with jacuzzi tub and had the printed confirmation...We got a tiny room with 2 doubles and no jacuzzi tub. The front desk blamed Hotels.com for the mistake and gave us the tiniest of discounts that did not come close to making up for it. This alone ruined our stay as we are a couple. We also felt we might have been discriminated against but have no proof of that. The tiny room was not very clean. Long hairs left in the tub and toilet seat not cleaned. Also lost power in our room that took a while to get fixed but the lady was nice about it. I recommend any place else but if you have to stay here, call ahead and reconfirm your room type and get a name, as your printed confirmation, is not enough.

My trip this time was not as great. The bed was very creeky, the bathroom a bad layout- barely room to sit on the toilet. Outside the room against our wall was the pop machine-very loud. This is only one room though #39. Avoid it and I think your stay should be good.

I tried to upgrade to a king room and they said there’s no availability Friday and Saturday Sunday didn’t look to be that busy plus I complain about my air conditioner it wouldn’t shut off it never got looked at

The Cedar Lodge Motel is right on Highway 8, which makes it accessible easily as one enters Goderich from the London and the Kitchener / Waterloo region. The rooms are always clean, and the motel is within a short (5 minute) walking distance of a very good breakfast restaurant which is also on Highway 8. The motel is a short distance (maybe 2 km?) from the beach, and is alos well placed for those taking in a performance at the Blyth Festival, 30 km away.

Beds were very hard and pillows were old. Drapes from the 60's. Was very quite even with it being full. Pool was warm and great when no one else was there, same with hot tub. Don't drink the provided coffee head to Tim's

The property was a little worn. The room, bed and bathroom were very good. The air conditioner was effective but noisy. The pool area closed too early at 8 pm if you liked taking a hot summer night swim.
