We didn't stay we have to leave there was to much noise kids running around we talk to the front desk he said he did talk to the parents but nothing changed he said if you not comfortable you can leave and said sorry it's kids hockey tournament and he can't control it

There was a weird smell on the stairways. Property looks very old and it's time for renovation. Most of the time there is no staff available for any questions or service- guests are directed to the bar for check-in. I was told breakfast will be available from 7.30-10 am but infact it was made available 9-11am. Least to say, complementary breakfast menu is awful which is as good as nothing. Room carpet looks dirty that you feel disgusting to walk barefoot. Bathroom commode is kid size and the towels are tired of their service and is begging for replacement.

No one at the front desk. The guy at the bar was rude and the lady that checked us out didn’t even lift her head. We booked 5 nights, left after the first. The tub was so gross we wouldn’t even shower and we kept our shoes on because the floor in our room was that gross. Booked the king suite with fireplace, showed up, no fireplace

This facility is quite old and in need of significant cleaning and upgrades. While I appreciate their effort to preserve the building’s heritage, the rooms and hotel are very badly maintained — Mold in the showers and it can be cleaned because I scrubbed it and my face cloth was black, the faucets were very dirty, the beds poorly made, and the carpets smelled unpleasant, stained and very dirty. Overall very very dirty. The carpets need to be replaced. When walking through the hallways they were not clean and a very musty smell through out the hotel. We dined at the restaurant; the food was decent, but the service was very slow.

Pictures on Hotels.com are very misleading. The hotel is pretty rundown. Paint is chipped and peeling, carpets were not only worn and faded but dirty. Shower had moldy grout. Draperies were shabby and helter-skelter. Not at all a pleasant stay. Breakfast doesn’t start till nine so if you’re an early riser you’ve got a wait on your hands. I’ll pass on future stays.

Old and worn down. Bathroom tiles coming up. Carpet very old and stained. No iron. Breakfast way too late as it starts at 9am to 11am. I am from this area and was shocked. Shower sounded like a kettle. Cowebs and bathroom fan has inches of dust on it. I do not recommend. Will be staying somewhere else next time even though it was the cheapest in the area.

This hotel was so disappointing. When I checked into our room, there was a half a glass of water left on the counter. There was no one at the front desk (the whole time we were there) so no one to complain to. The mould around the bathtub was disgusting-we didn't use the shower. There was construction around the whole hotel, so not able to eat outside on the patio. I wish we were warned about this. I would never recommend this hotel.

The check in consisted of a sign directing us to the bar. The bartender was very busy and only asked our name and then handed us our pass cards with the instructions "It's on the second floor" Even though we hung the "REFRESH OUR ROOM" sign on the door. No housekeeping was provided. Also, some of the towels had a yellowish hue to them. They didn't look very clean. When we checked out. The woman at the desk didn't even look up until I said "Good morning". And then she just took the pass cards and went back to her computer screen. So I asked if everything was good. She didn't even look up to respond with "Yeah". The waitress in the restaurant/bar was terrible. She didn't even bring cutlery to our table. The guy from the kitchen had to get us some when he brought out our meal. She didn't come by to ask us if everything was okay until after we had finished our meal. And then she didn't apply the 20% off discount that they advertised on their menu and signage. On top of all this, the sidewalk outside the building was torn up with construction. I know that this part was not their fault, but it added to the miserable stay we had. We would not return to this hotel.

We would have liked a coffee machine in the room. Other than that, everything was great. Loved the location. When we were checking in, we met friends of ours from home who were staying in your hotel as well.
