Original beach block in Bilinga on the GC. Ideal for beach escapes. New Bathroom. Enjoy beautiful soft French linen, flowers, balcony seats, coffee machine, beach bikes. See the beach albeit between units. Walk, run, jump on the bikes and venture along the beach front pathways and explore our local cafes, boutiques, restaurants. No need for a car as bikes have baskets! Can walk from the airport to the unit if bags are on wheels - no need for an Uber - weather depending :-)

The space

Self contained 2 bedroom unit located in a classical beach unit block of 7. It's 50m from the beach and has been furnished in a gorgeous Coastal theme; you'll fall asleep to the sound of the waves. There's a Queen bed in the master and another Queen bed in the second bedroom. The lounge room is air-conditioned and there's ceiling fans throughout. There's a flat screen TV and free WiFi. We've even included a few of our old fashioned favourite board games for you to play. The kitchen is fully functional and we've provided lots of the condiments that you might need but are painful to purchase on a short stay. Sorry, no dishwasher. We have a separate laundry with washing machine and drying racks. There are also 2 cruiser beach bikes for you to get out and explore the beach front. Guests have access to a single carport at ground level and our Unit is on the first floor with access via a straight set of stairs.

The area

While you could walk to us from Coolangatta Airport (750m from the terminal) will need your car for the Theme Parks (40kms). We're 50m to the beach, 500m to the local surf club and 1km to Kirra's cafés and restaurants. 2.5km to Coolangatta where you'll finds the shops, Woolworths, Aldi, Event Cinemas, multiple clubs and pubs and Twin Towns RSL Club. Byron Bay is about a 45min drive south and Surfers Paradise about 30mins north. The surfers will love our world-famous breaks of D-bah, Snapper, Greenmount, Kirra and Currumbin all so very close by.

Other things to note

This is a non-smoking property and is not available for large groups or parties. The neighbours on either side are lovely and very respectful of the property area, you need to be too.

Guest access
One vehicle onsite carport. Be careful if bringing a second car as parking in our street has a 4hr limit due to the close proximity to the beach and airport. Suitable longer-term parking is available 1.9km away on Golden Four Drive (you must park north of John St).

Other things to note
You are within a 15min flat walk to the local mini market at Kirra or take the bikes into Woolworths/Aldi in Coolangatta. If you love the beach you won't need the car much at all. You could even walk to/from the Coolangatta airport. Regular public bus transport is available along the GC Hwy to take you north to Tugun, Currumbin, Palm Beach, Burleigh Heads and Broadbeach (Pacific Fair Shopping Centre & Casino) and into Surfers Paradise, but beyond that you'll need your car.

This apartment offers its guests laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
