Great hotel in a good location Broadbeach, walking distance to Pacific Fair and public transport. I found the central heating to be quite useless at cooling the room, thought this could've just been a one off but also stayed at the Dorsett Melbourne the same week and had the same issue. Be mindful the pool isn't heated

Whilst the property was lovely and new, I had upgraded from a regular twin share to secure a panorama with wrap around glass windows. Sadly we were put on the lowest level and could just about touch the construction scaffolding outside blocking our views of anything.

I was really underwhelmed with the Dorsett. We booked an Executive Lounge Room and were really disappointed to get a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the shopping centre Carpark. The cleaners on different days, didn’t leave bathmats, face cloths. Rubbish bins that were full on one day wasn’t emptied, no amenities - milk, teabags on one occasion. Netting curtains unhemmed and dragging the ground. The Executive Lounge was nice, and the staff were lovely up there, especially Rashmi. Overall - for what should have been a 5 star stay, this was just an average hotel stay. Nothing special at all sorry.
