Disappointing stay

We booked this hotel as we wanted to use afterpay. We went through the Afterpay site to find accommodation and choice this place Upon arrival was told they dont accept this and was offered through a third party only. They only accept paymem on the day and would not accept adterpay as a payment This was not a good start. So we had to pay outright with our card. So our holiday spending was dramatically reduced. Then we had to pay for a carpark per night on top of this. This was NOT disclosed prior so more money lost The room itself and general motel nothing impressive for a 5 star. We will definitely not be returning to this strand of motels anywhere

The room was nice, though small and the bed and couch weren't too comfortable for us. The bedroom was also difficult to keep cool, despite the individual aircon. The views, lobby and pool area were great.

Meriton All the Way!!!

We enjoyed our stay, the location was excellent we had a ocean view suite that was small but nice. The added bonus of a few restaurants and a medium sized grocery store on the bottom level was excellent. We have stayed at The Meriton Suites in Bondi Beach, Broad Beach, Sydney Sussex, Southport and Brisbane, all very well situated and well maintained. We like the size of the suites and the kitchenette. We will stay at the Meriton again if we come back to Australia.
