Very friendly staff, Somewhat dated hotel

This is a somewhat dated (quirky even?) hotel with very friendly staff. The hotel is well-worn, but our rooms were big by European standards. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Shower, while it took a bit to figure out how to turn it on, produced a good flow of plenty warm water. Parking on street after 7pm and before 9am is free. The carpet could be replaced, as it’s dated. Hotel is on a main boulevard and is convenient to all sorts of food and the theatre. All told, I would stay there again for the right price.

Gute Lage, freundliches Personal, angenehmes Bett, geräumiges Badezimmer. Frühstück hatten wir nicht dazu genommen, da wir nicht viel frühstücken. Mehrere Cafés/Bars in der Umgebung, wo es guten schnellen Kaffee gibt. Schlechtes WLAN und einmal in der Früh war kaum mehr warmes Wasser da - das sollte in der Preisklasse nicht passieren. Ansonsten alles bestens.

Zunächst gilt: keine grundsätzlichen Einwände. Die Rezeption war nicht nur professionell freundlich, sondern ausnehmend hilfsbereit beim Parken (Ziehen des Tickets, etc.). Großen Dank! Außer der (wie allzu häufig) gefährlichen glatten Badewanne irritierte uns der für uns undurchschaubare Mechanismus des Umschaltens zur Dusche (die Gebrauchsanleitung versteckte sich...). Das ließe sich leicht korrigieren!
