This is a really beautiful hotel. Our room was gorgeous. The area around the hotel has a lot of building work going on at the moment but it will be lovely once it is all finished. one thing of note, while the breakfast area and the food selection was really excellent it was VERY busy every day. It is such a big hotel that shouldn’t be a surprise but worth planning for.

Great view and comfortable room and bed. The shower had a problem with clogging and we didn’t get help the same day, so after a reminder the day after it was fixed fairly swift, we also got vouchers for a cocktail upstairs in the rooftop bar so all is forgiven. The spa is not worth a visit, very little variation and extremely loud environment especially when a group of guys occupy the pool in the centre of the room screaming to each other constantly. We also found a hefty portion of snus tobacco pasted onto the seat of the sauna. The hotel personnel should have asked them to behave or kicked them out, but unfortunately nothing of the sort happened. Breakfast was very crowded but you could always find seating. Better information about the booked time slots would probably have helped.

Room Access Failure – The key didn’t work, and my daughter and I had to sit on the floor waiting for help. 2. Lack of Communication – No phone in the room, making it impossible to contact staff at night. 3. Unbearable Noise – Loud disturbances continued until 4 a.m., ruining any chance of rest. 4. Misleading Support – Hotels.com told me I could cancel with a refund, but the hotel refused. 5. Inadequate Compensation – One hour of spa access for one person only, while I was traveling with my daughter. These failures completely ruined the purpose of our stay — a peaceful and relaxing day — and I received far less than what I paid for.
