Tyvärr var vår vistelse kantad av en del trista komponenter. Rummets fönster vette mot en byggarbetsställning med plastskydd som hindrade utsikt över staden. Var naturligtvis lite tråkigt. Värre var att vi väcktes på söndagsmorgonen av slipmaskinljud och borrljud och lite sedan när vi skulle se gudtjänsten på TV kl 10 fick vi maxa ljudet på TV:n för att överrösta byggljuden. Droppen blev sedan när vi körde ut bilen ur hotellets garage. Platserna var mycket, mycket trånga och betongstolpar gjorde det inte lättare att ta sig in och ut. Tyvärr skrapade vi upp sidan på bilen. Av skrapmärkena på stolparna var vi inte de enda som skrapat upp bilen på dem. Tråkigt avslut. Vi visste att hotellet var en byggarbetsplats men att lägga gäster som betalade för två dubbelrum i ett rum som gränsar till bygget, vägg i vägg, utan att åtminstone erbjuda en kraftig rabatt på rumspriset eller påpeka att i vårt rum kommer det att dåna från slipmaskiner tidigt på söndagsmorgonen kändes inte rätt. Vi hade bokat rummen två månader i förväg. Frukosten var mycket bra (även om jag saknade Wienerbröd), personalen var mycket trevlig och hotellets läge perfekt för Mässan och Scandinavium.
