Charming Hideaway in Downtown Flagstaff

Charming Downtown Flagstaff Hideaway located 2 1/2 blocks to Heritage Square, the heart of the Downtown Flagstaff shopping district.

This one bedroom, one bath home with a bonus cozy attic as a second bedroom ( attic measures 3 1/2 ft. high on the sides and 6 ft. high in the middle with steeper ladder-like stairs - kids love it) with 2 twin beds. This home has central heat and AC, controlled through the Nest thermostat. This home has a private front yard and fully enclosed private back yard is located steps away from the Downtown shops, dining, galleries, parks, micro-breweries and hiking trails. It is a 30 minute drive to Arizona Snowbowl ski mountain, 1 hour drive to the Grand Canyon, 8 minutes drive to Buffalo Park, 7 minutes drive to Lowell Observatory and 45 minutes to Sedona.

The home has a queen size bed in the bedroom and 2 twin beds in the attic. Additionally there is Wifi, Cable, quaint new gas burning stove fireplace and a fully stocked kitchen with all the necessary glassware, dishware, pots, new refrigerator, garbage disposal and new cooking stove over oven.

Please no very small children. Back yard has about a three foot drop from one back patio to ground, loose wood piles, steep stairs to attic and fairly hot stove fireplace. Private backyard reading studio does not have electricity or water and will not be available to additional tenants.
Please provide your own soap, shampoo and personal toiletries.
Paper towels, toilet paper, clean linens, laundry detergent and bath towels will be available.

Flagstaff Quick Visit

I visited with my husband, adult daughter, and our dog. We were comfortable in Todd’s place, which is cute if a bit rough around the edges. The location is on a quiet street, but not the most aesthetic block. It’s in a very nice residential neighborhood with adjacent apartment building. Todd has all the basics covered and is a prompt and helpful communicator. The stay would be fine for a couple, but the only bathroom is in the master suite, so any additional guests have to go through the master to use the bathroom, which could be awkward. Also, the yards are not well maintained, and our dog was able to get out of the yard by hopping up the side wall by the apartment building. We enjoyed the proximity of this stay to our local daughter’s house, and so would stay here again if it were just two of us.

Great Little House 9 out of 10 stars!

The location was great. It was so nice to be able to stay with our dogs. Todd was an excellent host and always responded quickly.My only issue with the home is the TV. There is no cable/live TV. I think it's older and I was not able to cast from my phone to use my subscriptions. The apps were not available on the TV and I was not able to add them.I would stay again and recommend it for two adults. Thanks Todd for a great stay!

Great location for a Flagstaff stay

The house is a cute old redone downtown-area home, with a big fenced yard. I did enjoy our stay very much, but it is pretty bare-bones. We've been spoiled with well-stocked stays with lots of amenities- bring everything you might need. Basic dishes and cookware is provided, all appliances work well. We didn't use the upstairs loft, which is very small and would only work for kids.

We loved the location. The place was decent. We left a day early becuase we wouldn't stand sleeping on their bed another night unfortunately. It says that the bed was a qween, but I'm pretty sure it's a full.

Perfect Location

We loved our stay at this property! The location was absolutely perfect, such an easy walk to downtown Flagstaff. The property was clean and was a very cute rustic cabin like vibe. It was definitely older, but great for the price. Especially since it had the fenced in yard for my dogs! Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful little house fully equipped for general relaxing, cooking in, or quickly walking to downtown (2 blocks). 2nd bedroom accessible by steep, narrow stairs - we ended up not using, but important to note to navigate with caution. Couple of options if you need to do some remote work. A few bugs seeking shelter from the cold, but easily manageable. Outdoor areas are lovely but not secure for a dog - very easy for them to get out on one side and some dodgy areas in back yard. If you are a pet free couple, don't hesitate to take advantage of this gem!

What a great little vacation getaway! All the amenities needed and a great location with walk ability into town. Kitchen had great resources, beds were comfortable, nice size yard. Will definitely recommend to friends!
