Cheap hotel so I wasn’t expecting much

My experience was worse than I anticipated. I got there around 8pm and checked in rather quickly. I get to the room, check around it and there’s stuff on the walls near the sink and in the bathroom (the sink isn’t in the bathroom). Not a deal breaker, I knew it was a cheap place. There are stains on the lamp shades, gross but whatever. I’m looking for the tv remote to watch something to fall asleep as I have an early flight. Can’t find the remote but while lifting up pillows, I found long black hair and stains on the bedding. That’s enough for me to ask for a new room. Front desk says they’re sold out so I ask for a refund instead. He finds a new room for me. Next room, I unlock and open the door, there’s no tv like it’s been stolen. I close the door immediately and go back to front desk to tell him about it. I get ANOTHER room, but they’re sold out I thought. This room was good enough, clean enough so I stayed. But i won’t ever go back again.

I was not able to stay. Room was in disrepair and unsanitary. Sheets were stained, sketchy people were hanging around. Most occupants appeared to be living there long term. Asked for immediate refund.

Room was worn, and dirty. Chair in room was worn and broken down. Not even worthy of goodwill donation. Floor was sticky from the door to the bathroom, still looked like a pile of puke that wasn't properly cleaned up on the carpet by the door. Bath tub was cracked, peeling and looked like cigarette burns all over it. Room even smelled of cigarette. I thought hotels were smoke free for years now. The hotel was half the price as others in the area. Spend the extra to not be totally grossed out and want your money back anyhow.

VERY dirty. asked for a non smoking room and the entire room reeked of smoke. whole place needed a wipe down, all light switches were greasy and crusty. the bottoms of our shoes stuck to the floor. old gum crusted on the floor. bedsheets were stained everywhere. tried to find another place to go around us but all the hotels were booked out due to the graduation at GVSU. would NOT recommend. front desk guy was nice though, that’s why that has 2 stars- although, i did see housekeeping smoking while cleaning rooms, so that’s probably why all the nonsmoking rooms smell like that. stay away!

First of its a nice area for a motel to look to trashy for what I paid isn't acceptable Secondly it was dirty the towels, floor, sink, desk top and smelled like so much tobacco. The pictures arent what you see in person.

Expedia got me a room but b4 the staff had said there were no rooms. Expedia got me a room but the firealarm was disconnected. The heater was broke. Short hair came out of the shower drain and when i turned on the sink, hair from someone shaving came up. I was worried about the whole place but it was close to the airport and i had to be there at 5 am flight. Glad I made it through the night. Lol. The dog locked. It had a bed.

When we walked into our room someone else was there. We were given a different room that did not match our booking and the floors were sticky and the light in the bathroom was falling off. We did not stay the night and opted to travel home.
