Staff were friendly and checked us in quickly. Got in the elevator and it had a heavy odour like cooked fish. Room was nice and big, but dimly lit, same as the bathroom, which made getting dressed for our evening events difficult. Could not get the tv to work properly, tried a second remote on the first night and got one channel to work but couldn’t get the tv to turn off so we unplugged it. Talked to the front desk the next day and still couldn’t get more than one channel to work. Breakfast was good. Highlight was the option of underground heated parking, once we got the code, it snowed about 20 inches in the two nights we stayed, and temperatures dropped to -30, so we were happy to park inside.

First thing in this box, it says was the room spotless. Once arriving at my room, I went to grab a shower, stepped out onto the carpet once drying off and cut my foot on a piece of glass. Must say wasn’t overly happy about that. Took me a while to get the glass out of my foot luckily, I had a pair of tweezers in my bag. Took a little bit until reception come up with a first aid kit and someone to re-vacuum the floor. I got a sorry about that out of that quite disappointing really. On another note, the rooms are nice. The bed is comfy. One of their complaint which I made before is the option of not being able to have the remote to the TV to watch Netflix even though it’s on there to be available they said they no longer give it out. They wouldn’t even give me the remote so I could even put my own Netflix password on so we could watch it as we were relaxing in bed for the evening. That needs to be changed as the way of the world come on guys.
