Great place!!

Our stay in this nice little house was really relaxing and we had everything we needed for a good vacation! The place is located close to many must sites to visit in the Normandy and a great starting point for day trips. Located on the country side between meadows and forests it invites for “slowing down” and recovery. Last but not least, a very kind, caring and helpful host family made our vacation a 10 out of 10!

Perfect

We wish we could have stayed longer in this delightful gite. Prisca and Hugues made us most welcome and we learnt a great deal about Grangues, its history and traditions. Some delightful local restaurants to explore within no more than 8 kms. Close to both coast ad country. A most delightful holiday, so peaceful.

Wir haben in diesem wunderhübschen Häuschen zu zweit eine Woche genossen. Alles extrem ruhig, abends ziehen Rehe und Wildschweine am Waldrand entlang. Eine Woche lang haben wir die Gegend erkundet und hatten abends immer noch die Möglichkeit von der Terrasse den Fernblick auf den Ärmelkanal zu genießen. Liebevolle freundlich Vermieter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder.

Fantastisch verblijf!

Deze vakantie hebben we doorgebracht op de mooiste lokatie ooit. Gastvrije en geïnteresseerde eigenaren, een prachtig uitzicht vanuit de lokatie op de kust en een huisje dat voor ons perfect was en waar alles gewoon klopte. Heel veel ruimte buiten het huisje ook.

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus

Es war einmalig ! Das wunderschöne, gepflegte Anwesen mit dem großen parkähnlichen Grundstück. Der Blick auf die Bucht von Cabourg. Die sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Eigentümer. Man war in kurzer Zeit in den zauberhaften Seebädern Cabourg und Houlgate.

sehr schönes Ferienhaus auf großzügigem Privatgelände, herrlicher Ausblick über die Landschaft bis zum Meer, sehr angenehme Vermieter inkl. problemloser Kommunikation auf englisch, genügend Platz für PKW, Anhänger und Motorräder auf dem Grundstück, schnelles und stabiles Internet, Rückzahlung der Kaution war am zweiten Werktag nach Abreise auf dem Konto Wir haben uns 2 Wochen sehr wohl gefühlt und nichts vermisst.

Landelijk romantisch.

Vond het verblijf minder geschikt voor 75 plussers zoals wij. Binnen geen lekkere fauteuils of heerlijke bank en buiten geen prettige tuinstoelen. Nadeel was ook dat je de auto niet vlak bij het huisje kon parkeren om in- en of uit te laden. Was nogal steile helling. De WC was veel lager dan wij in Nederland gewend zijn. Maar de locatie is schitterend.

Traumhafter Ort zum Entspannen

Abgeschieden in der Natur und doch nahe am Meer fanden wir eine Oase der Erholung. Ein wunderschönes Haus für zwei Personen, liebevoll eingerichtet und funktional, eine Terrasse an der direkt die Natur angrenzt und an der auch mal Rehe und Hasen zu Besuch kommen. Kurz gesagt, man lebt in Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit und wird von einer liebevollen Vermieterin empfangen und verabschiedet. Wer Ruhe sucht, der ist hier richtig.

Charmantes kleines Haus

Wir waren mit unserem 14tägigen Aufenthalt in Grangues sehr zufrieden. Das Häuschen hat eine fantastische Lage (sehr ruhige Umgebung mit Blick auf das ein paar Kilometer entfernt gelegene Meer) und ist als Ausgangspunkt für Touren zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Normandie bestens geeignet. Dazu noch sehr freundliche und jederzeit hilfsbereite Vermieter.

An oasis of peace!

The cottage is located (next to the owner's) on a hill, surrounded by trees. In the distance, on a clear day, you can see the sea. The silence is breathtaking. The most beautiful sunset is everyday . If you get up very early, you sometimes discover a deer with her breed in your backyard. The cottage itself is small, but big enough for 2 adults. And everything you need is provided. It is also the perfect base from which to explore Normandy. And the owner is a super friendly and helpful lady!

Geweldige locatie!!

De locatie heeft al onze verwachtingen overtroffen. Wat een prachtige plek!! Rust, heel veel ruimte, uitzicht op het dal met in de verte de zee. De inrichting van het huisje is eenvoudig, maar alles wat nodig is, is aanwezig. De eigenaren waren erg aardig en behulpzaam. Een topweek gehad!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Wir haben die ursprünglich geplante Woche in Grangues auf 14 Tage verlängert, da unser Jersey-Urlaub wegen Covid storniert werden musste. Wir haben es nicht bereut. Prisca und ihre Familie sind sehr gastfreundlich und das kleine Haus (vor 15 Jahren im normannischen Stil gebaut) bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht ... übrigens auch eine Waschmaschine. Das war dem Inserat nicht zu entnehmen. Man wohnt ungestört in einem kleinen Park; Rehe und Hasen sagen morgens und abends hallo. Auf den (ein klein wenig unbequemen) Liegestühlen auf der Wiese sitzend kann man den Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer in ca. 5km Entfernung beobachten ... himmlisch! Ein kleines Manko: Wenn die Inhaber keine Reinigungskraft für die Abreise am Samstag organisieren können, müssen die Gäste die Endreinigung selbst durchführen. Das war bei uns kein größeres Problem, da wir nur eine kleine Reiseetappe nach Étretat vor uns hatten. Vor einer 10-stündigen Autofahrt nach Hause hätte ich aber eigentlich morgens keine Lust auf einen Hausputz. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub! Vielen Dank an Prisca und ihre Familie!

Tres bien

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Grangues. La maison est tres fonctionnelle: la chambre est spacieuse et il y a tous les équipements nécessaires en cuisine. La terrasse est tres agréable et ensoleillée et la maison dispose d’une belle vue sur le jardin dans lequel on peut apercevoir des lièvres et des chevreuils. Les hôtes sont également très attentionnés et d’une extreme gentillesse. Je recommande ++
