Natural Pool - View of French Rivera - Nightly rates reduced for Summer 2025

Large house with breathtaking views of the French Riveria. Situated on the edge of the forest just above the old town of Grasse. Calm and tranquil setting. Beautiful natural swimming pool with 15x4 meters for swimming and shallow beach area for children.
The Space:
Our house is situated on 2 floors. You enter into the top floor where there is a very well equipped kitchen diner and a large separate living room with a fire place. Both the kitchen and living room opens onto the terrace where there is a large dinning table and a shaded cozy area and a gas barbeque. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on this level. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other has 2 singles.
On the lower level there are another 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom ( with a walk in shower) , laundry cupboard ( housing washing machine) and another large living room with 2 single beds/ sofas. Entrance to the pool and garden is from this level.

Natural Swimming Pool
There is a gated area separating the pool and decking area. There are sun beds and plenty of natural shade in this area.
The pool is a natural one. The water is crystal clear with no chlorine or any other chemicals used to clean the water. Nor is there any salt (salt pools are still chlorine pools and derive their chlorine through electrolysis of the salt).
The pool water flows on a continual basis through a gravel filter where it is cleaned by tiny microorganisms on the gravel. Additionally there are plants that live on the nutrients in the water and strip away all the phosphates and nutrients algae would need to grow.
Also there is a clay area alongside the swimming zone planted with lilies. The clay binds any excessive phosphates and provides a substrate where the plants can grow without adding any extra nutrients into the pool water which creates a robust ecosystem. The small shallow area immediately to the right of the stairs leads into the pool. There is 15x4 meters for swimming and shallow beach area where children can play. The pool is filter mainly by gravel and plants and so is perfect for people who are allergic to chlorine!

Although the villa is situated in a quiet location Grasse town centre is 4km away. 6 minutes by car! 35 minutes from Nice airport. There are walking and biking trails directly accessible , perfect for dog walks.
The town of Grasse is well known for its long-established perfume industry. Large perfumeries like Fragonard , Molinard and Galimard offer tours. Grasse Cathedral, in the old town contains many paintings, including some by Rubens.
Just on our door step, there is an olympic size, open air swimming pool with diving towers 500 meters from the house as well as tennis courts.
Belle Ville a beautiful View is reached within 10 minutes of walking. Beautiful walks
Our favourite beach, Theoule is 30 mins by car. There are also 2 fantastic rivers nearby, the Siagne and the Loup. The Siagne has dozens of gorgeous swimming spots with crystal clear water and sandy bottom is closest spot. 18 minutes from the house (for detailed descriptions on how to get to some of my favourites please see the house manual). The Loup is especially known for canyoning and is roughly the same distance. There is also a beautiful Lake, Lac Cassien, about 25 minutes drive. With regards to shopping .. There is a large new shopping mall.. POLYGONE Riviera in Cagnes-sur-mer ( about 35 minutes drive from the house with lots of easy parking). On wednesday mornings there is a market in Grasse , Mouans Sartoux on thursdays and Valbonne on fridays.
