Helpful front desk staff with good recommenation for dining out, very reasonable price, especially since a hot breakfast was included. Our room was clean and quiet. The hallway smelled of mildew, but the room, itself, was fine.

Completely awful, everything you would expect from a Super8! Checked in the middle of the night and the young guy at the desk checked me into an already occupied right next to the check in desk. It clearly had a do not disturb placard hanging from the handle, and the key would not open it. When I kept pointing out the do not disturb sign, and the fact that the keys would not open it saying that there’s probably someone already in the room he kept making an excuse that there wouldn’t be. He finally tried to open the door and it was locked with the manual lock on the top. Then made an excuse that they were working on the lock from the inside. When we went back to the desk, I could hear someone go to the door and open it to see who was trying to break into their room. I finally got a different room on the same first floor. And when walking to the end of the hallway, there is a giant leak of water in the center of the hallway. It was so wet that my suitcase wheels were creating rooster tails. When I entered the room, the AC was blowing very cold, which would normally be good, but it was very moist in the air and everything felt damp. laying in the bed I felt like it was literally wet. Like I said it was the middle of the night so I just forced myself to sleep. I took a shower in the morning to wash away the nastiness that covered me from being in that wet air. The one thing I can say is the water pressure was not atrocious.

I am not a fan of hotels but sometimes there is a need. This was affordable and although it could be cleaner it didn't show signs of bugs.Pillows were small and room had a little smell but we slept and got back on the road. Staff was friendly and I did like to grab a bite of breakfast before leaving. Not fancy but not too bad.

Not the cleanest not the best breakfast but super friendly and beds were comfortable and clean. The tables and appliances really needed a good scrubbing on the outsidein the rooms and the hot breakfast was cold. other than that it was really nice stay

I have stayed here on and off for years and this property continues to plummit. I try to go with small franchises but this property gets no money back into its infrastructure. AC broke. They moved me to another room that remote didn’t work. Running kids. This place is where songs come from.

This is a nice enough hotel and has very friendly staff! The bed mattresses are not that great. I've stayed twice now and both times struggled a bit with the comfort of the bed. It is very clean and otherwise a decent room. We have family in the area that requires us to stay every so often so I will very likely come back. I do wish the mattresses were not so cheap and more comfortable.

Drive to Evansville or Mount Vernon

Your website, hotels.com, advertises this hotel as having a restaurant/bar both written in details and by photo. There is no restaurant here. There were hairs on the floor, on the sink. The subfloor around the shower is caving in. The walls are paper thin. Paint chipping everywhere. Starting to think the hotel pays folks on side to post reviews.

Room was clean and staff friendly. I stay couple times a year and they have always been great. This visit the elevator was broken and lugging all our bags to the third floor was pretty rough. My friend has lung disease and was having trouble. Hopefully won’t be a problem next time.

It was a great stay. The place is a smidge dated, but it was clean. The only issue I had was my key card to my room had to be re-keyed every time I came back to the hotel. Kind of inconvenient. They also are a couple months over due for their elevator to be serviced.
