We were there the weekend before the hurricane hit Jamaica. The resort was amazing, the staff was amazing, the butlers Richardo and Thorniel were amazing, the life guards at the water park treated us like family. The bartenders were top notch and made great drinks. Shoutout to O’Shea. The food was the best I ever had and I’ve been to many AI resorts. Jamaica didn’t disappoint and we will be back.

Stayed here at the beginning of October 2025. We had a Platinum Club Swim Out Suite. We had a total of 3 suites with 9 people total. They were able to accommodate all of us with rooms near each other. The resort was very slow at the time, but the service was amazing. All of the workers were so friendly and personable. We really enjoyed seeing them each and every day. The Jamaican people are truly the best. The water park was fun for the kids in our group, and the adults enjoyed the slides too! The food was probably the best we've had at a family friendly all inclusive. We really enjoyed everything about our stay and would recommend this place to others!

Let me start off by saying this resort was so beautiful and the staff are all so friendly. It was very clean and so many things to do on this resort! Ingrid and Garth too great care of me and my husband during our stay. We were unfortunately stuck due to hurricane melissa and Ingrid and Garth kept us updated and informed immediately and was also open to any concerns or question we had. They also ensured that we were safe and indeed we were! This resort still had their buffet open to guest after a Catastrophic hurricane and bars were still open for us. They gave use 3+ free nights and were very understanding. I cannot expressed enough how much we appreciate you both Ingrid and Garth! Me and my husband will definitely be back soon as Jamaica recovers from this very devastating situation. This two definitely deserve a raise because you do not run across Amazon people like them very often in the customer service industry. Again, thank you guys for an Amazon stay at the Princess Grand Jamaica!

For the price paid i was hoping for better, literally felt like i was begging for everything.. To be served just a drink or water. Staff seemed always consumed in their own conversations. Poor customer service, requested for soap and shower cap in the room, the gentleman who brought it seemed very displeased..no hie or hello to top it off front desk person semi argued no its there in the room just look lol. Last night of my staff was not feeling called the front desk and front desk for 2 hours on/off no answer i was hoping to get my dinner in my room. Male staff also unprofessional and aggressive. If traveling solo be mindful. Lots of room for improvement required.

Overall, we had a great experience. The food was excellent, and the staff were kind, proactive, and responsive throughout our visit. We rented a cabana for the day, and while we enjoyed it, the service around it felt a bit uncoordinated. The staff began setting up while we were already there, which took away from the experience. Since this was an additional service, I was expecting a more polished presentation — ideally, everything would have been ready upon our arrival, with the cabana fully set up, champagne chilled, and flutes in place. A more seamless and elevated setup would have really created that “wow” moment.

Great resort. Everything is impeccable. The only thing is the beach is man made so if you’re looking for an amazing beach experience you won’t find it there. Regardless of that I’d 100% recommend this resort. My kids had a blast!
