I recently stayed at Princess Grand for my solo birthday trip, and despite a few hiccups at the beginning, the manager went above and beyond to turn my experience into something truly magical. I can confidently say I’ve never felt more like a princess! My butler, Matthew, did his BIG one—not just on my birthday but every single day. His attention to detail and dedication to making my stay special was unmatched. From beautifully decorating my room on my birthday to ensuring every little need was met, he made my trip unforgettable. The food at the resort’s restaurants was amazing each meal felt like a five-star dining experience. You must try The Pearl, Jamrock and food truck with the Jerk Chicken. The spa was incredibly relaxing, the gym was top-notch, and the entire resort was simply breathtaking. The views throughout the property were unmatched, but my swim-out suite took it to another level, pure luxury! The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure I felt safe and well taken care of as a solo traveler. Their hospitality exceeded my expectations, and I truly felt at home. This resort has officially become my second home, and I’ll definitely be returning. If you’re considering a stay at Princess Grand, don’t hesitate this place is a dream!

The staff were very friendly and approachable. Everyday we had to call and ask for towels and wash clothes as they either did not leave any or they left small towels (like the ones you put on the floor by the shower). They always brought them with a smile but seemed odd that we always had to ask. One thing to note is that if you book all inclusive at the Grand Jamaican you won’t have access to the a la cartes at the Senses adult only resort (steakhouse, hibachi, etc). If you don’t have kids with you can purchase a dining option (don’t know the cost because we had a child and it wasn’t an option for us). The activities that are scheduled didn’t always happen - for example they never held pool volleyball and they didn’t have a net set up in any pool and one day we never saw the activity staff around. The food at the a la cartes was ok, but not great. The food at the buffet was better and the breakfast buffet was probably the best. It was difficult to get ahold of anyone via phone for help (housekeeping, etc). Only one gift shop and a high end beach wear shop on site. We enjoyed the options for water sports - kayaks, stand up boards, paddle boats, etc. There wasn’t anywhere available for pickleball like advertised. I’m not sure that the spa was open yet as we couldn’t find it and asked for a map of the property but they stated that they were working on one but it wasn’t available yet.

Property has only been open for 4 months and is struggling to find their grove. Two different rooms we checked into with no towels at all, no washcloths, hand towels etc, safe was locked and it look forever (over hour) after 3 calls to front desk just to get body towels only. Buffets were basic and often out of glasses for drinks and hard to find silverware was well….service is not 5 star. Highlight - Chris bartender at swim up pool and others there were great, Neesha the server at the pool by beach was amazing! Property was nice, dining options ok, I don’t feel like the 9 restaurants is true…2 are food trucks, one place only open for lunch, 4 dinner restaurants plus a mediocre buffet. Platinum guests have one more option, but it’s another buffet.

Property it self is great. Outside grounds were unbelievable lots of fun things to do pools and kids play area the outdoor water park was so kuch fund for kids and adults. The only thing we have a complain about is food quality and variety asvtherevis non every day we got same exact food and some of it was cooked much earlier as it looked it was sirting under the warm up lamp fot to long, we have traveled a lot and done planty of all inclusive resorts and as this is 5 star food was not. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner was same every single day for our kid was not much fun trying to get her different choices, she ate eggs with bacon every single day as the pancake and french toast was so hard. Most of the cooking staff did not have the knowledge of what they are doing. As a new place and as advertised 5 star hotel food should be much higher quality. Ala carte resurants at night was ok that was the only different we can do at night but still for 7 night stay this hotel should have lots of more variety of food choices quality and cooking knowledge. The other thing on the beach there shoud be more umbrellas offered and more seating.Grounds of thw hotel plus entertainment was exelent. Will not come back here again.

It's a beautiful property. The food was normal all inclusive food. Room service was NOT included.... I've stayed at lots of all inclusive and never had to pay extra for room service. Also, there are only 4 restaurants, not 9. The other restaurants are at the other resort, that you're not allowed to go to unless you pay $30/pp. Wild. Beach isn't worth highlighting. Rooms were comfy and clean. Pools were nice. Drinks were good. Rude employees, they seemed like we were bothering them like they didn't want to help. Very different experience than I'm used to at all inclusive resorts.

We had a lovely stay. It's a big resort. There were plenty of patrons there but It never felt crowded, like at the pool, beach, or at meal time. I loved how the hallways were very wide to help with that feeling. The staff works very hard to keep it clean and the patrons cared for. I loved that staff make eye contact, smile, and greet you as you pass in the halls. The property is nicely situated so you can enjoy beautiful peaceful views from most locations. The beds and pillows comfortable. Good variety of being part of the action or staying to yourself. The theater shows were Entertaining but not my favorite part of the trip. The bands after were good. My favorite was The Steel drum band ( which did not have steel drums). They sang all the Bob Marley Favorites. The female backup singers were awesome as well as the lead singer and saxophone player. The virtual reality / game room was a hit with my 14 year old. I enjoyed them too. The buffet was hit or miss. Lots of options. Loved the fresh fruit. However premade items in warming stations were not warm and tended to be dried out. I stuck to the omelette station to get freshly made meal which was hot. Also crepe station was a hit with me and my family. The restaurants were very good. We did the Asian fusion, Italian and Mexican. All a hit. I loved the poke bowl at Asian fusion. My husband loved the fish tacos at Mexican. The 24 hour coffee shop was great. Best coffee. Need somewhere to put toiletries in the shower.
