We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Greensboro, GA, and overall, the experience was lackluster. While the front desk staff was courteous and check-in was easy, several issues during our visit left us disappointed. The pool was closed due to environmental concerns—a chemical imbalance, according to the signage. We had specifically chosen this hotel for the pool, so this was a frustrating surprise, especially with no advance notice provided. Our room was in need of some serious maintenance. In multiple spots, sections of the subfloor were actually showing through, which gave the room an unfinished and poorly maintained appearance. It certainly didn’t reflect the standards we expect from this hotel brand. Breakfast also missed the mark. The pancake machine was out of order, which may seem minor, but it’s one of the signature items that usually makes the breakfast stand out. With that gone, the offerings felt pretty limited. To top it off, the water was shut off during part of our stay while staff tried to locate and repair a leak. With no running water for a stretch of the afternoon, it was an inconvenience we hadn’t planned for—and again, there was minimal communication about what was happening. This wasn’t the worst hotel stay we’ve ever had, but it definitely didn’t live up to the expectations set by the Holiday Inn Express brand. Hopefully, management will address these issues soon. Until then, we’d suggest exploring other lodging options in the area.

Great Hotel!

Amazing stay. The lobby smelt amazing the room was tip top shape. Bed was amazing and the pillows felt like cotton in heaven.

The front desk staff was super nice and helpful. My biggest issues was my keys deactivating for no reason, house keeping cleaning our room. She cleaned the room but didn't leave us any towels, didn't sweep the bathroom floor or and extra toilet tissue. I got in very late and had to go back downstairs 3 times for these issues

Highly recommend

The cleanist hotel in the area. The breakfast was wonderful. I do wish it started a little earlier, only because we had to be somewhere and only had a few minutes to eat. They do offer a grab and go option.. brilliant idea! The bathrooms and showers all clean and glass shower doors( no shower curtain) that was a huge plus. Checked in late at night, front desk clerk was very nice.Would highly recommend.

Front desk was not very welcoming. Out of ordinary for my other two hotel stays during my 7 day trip. TV did not have options that are customary. I watch Fox News Channel and Hallmark, neither were available in my room. I was told I could view in the lobby. Really? Totally unacceptable. Managements comment was that was all that was offered and they would refund and I could move to another hotel if I wanted.. again, unacceptable response! Within 10-15 min of arrival a call to my room to come move my car as it was in a fire lane! Never ever happened in all my travels; certainly not marked as fire lane. Expected to get unloaded and then move car as always! I would not recommend and for sure will never stay at this property again!
