Penmerryl's 2 log cabins face our swimming pool and offer guests a private and rustic experience on a beautiful 130 acre horse farm. Hiking trails begin just steps from the front porch!

The space
Penmerryl's Log Cabins are beautifully finished, fully equipped, Air Conditioned and heated. There are three bedrooms, each of which boast a queen bed. There are 1.5 private bathrooms. Cabins are also equipped with ceiling fans, well appointed kitchens with dishwasher and microwave, living/dining room, rocking chairs and porch swings on the covered porch. The Cabin faces the Pool area and is immediately adjacent to the large parking area.

With advance reservations, Cabin Guests are welcome to join us in the Lodge for Breakfast at an extra charge of $15.00 per person plus tax.

In a separate but nearby building is our country Tavern which has a Satellite fed Big Screen TV, Pool Table, Piano, Kitchen, plenty of seats and tables for gathering and games.

Our lake boasts excellent fishing and canoeing, or just a lovely spot from which to enjoy the abundant wildlife...Bald Eagles, Blue Herons, Hawks, Canada Geese, Deer, Wild Turkey, Beavers, Mink, Foxes and Turtles.

Meandering trails throughout the 130 acres of the farm offer lovely riding, biking and hiking.

12 miles to the North, Staunton has many restaurants, unique shops, Shakespeare, Frontier Culture Museum, Mary Baldwin college. 22 miles south is Lexington VA, home of the Virginia Horse Center and VMI,
