HORRIFIED! DO NOT STAY HERE! SCAMMED!

I cannot begin to even express the disgust I have for VRBO on their handling of assisting me when we got into this apartment. When we arrived, the apartment had dishes with burnt on food, a very nasty greasy and dirty stove top, trash in the bathroom, and a soiled mattress and mattress cover with fecal matter. I was told I had to talk to the local agency to try to get my money back. The local agency, Majordame Prive, was EXTREMELY unhelpful. I tried to call and they said "email me, I can't understand you" They were not willing to bring me clean linens until the next morning. I was travelling with my daughter and did not want to get Hepatitis! When I was told this, I immediately asked for a refund, that's when they wanted to come right then to bring a new cover. The problem with that was the rest of the nasty stuff in the apartment. We went to another hotel, then I got an email from Matthieu saying he had come by and we were already gone; I never received an email telling me that he was on his way. Many emails later, I gave up arguing with them. The French do not like to admit they did anything wrong. Not only did Majordame Prive CHANGE my reservation, I never received any money back and I am sure they rebooked. SCAMMED! Photos will be uploaded to google!
