Hope the chef isn't too busy.

This is a great location, set back from the beachfront wall. The property was adequate but a little tired. The bed looked a bit lumpy but we actually slept well. Biggest disappointment was the chef at the linked restaurant/bar being unable to cook for us because she had a booking for 14 due in half an hour and they took priority. We felt it was badly handled and they could have offered for us to come back later. We would have happily sat with a drink and waited. Bar staff were unresponsive to the situation. There was nowhere else to go so we had to cobble something together ourselves. It was a bit of a let down.

We arrived 1 hour prior to check in time and unfortunately the unit wasn’t ready. The lady doing the check in was really nice unfortunately one of the helpers (waitress I guess) was borderline rude. The area is gorgeous but unfortunately for us it rained really heavy. The units are named “beachfront” but no unit can see the beach as all the units are behind a tall sea wall. The minuses are as follow:- the shower wasn’t functional, it has some sort of heating device which was delivering either steaming hot water (for short times) or ice cold -the internet did work AT ALL.

Walkable to the cavern, blowholes and pancake rock. Great location by the beach. Take a bottle of wine and sit on the picnic tables overlooking the ocean for sunset. Magical. Only negative is that there isn’t anything much within 30 miles, but the restaurant next door is great, and they sell wine by the bottle to take away. 🙂

This ocean front property is conveniently located to Pancake Rocks. The cabin location is ideal for touring in this area. The layout of the kitchen, bathroom, and living space is quite workable. The bedroom is a bit small but had a comfortable queen bed. The staff were very helpful and there was parking next to the cabin. Highly recommend this location.

Right on the beach although the ocean view from the room was blocked by an armour stone breakwall. Great view from the top of the wall which made a rough walkway along the waters edge.

A disappointing stay

We stayed for one night in a studio. Whilst the unit had most of the things you would need and was clean, it appeared very tired and dated. The WiFi connection was virtually non existent, which meant that we couldn't actually watch the smart TV. Staff warned us about this at check in, so one has to ask why nothing has been done about it. We would certainly not stay there again.

These are very nice individual cabins right next to the beach. While you cannot see the beach from the units, due to the break wall being in the way, you can certainly hear the surf! The units are spacious and have very well appointed kitichens.

The cabin was brilliant. Spacious, clean. Location was 20 second walk to the shore, which had some picnic tables to enjoy the sunset. Highly recommend. Only note... check-in is at a pub/restaurant down the street.

Property is on the beach. Fabulous walks along the roaring ocean Staff, particularly the lady in charge of the units was not friendly or willing to be helpful. Our unit had one wine glass, one small glass, and one large glass. Clearly short on utensils. When we asked to have this corrected she said hopefully staff will fix it tomorrow!!! Not happy with lackadaisical attitude toward customer service.

Lovely room with small kitchen (which we did not use). Great location. Small bed for 2 persons, but there was a small single that my wife used. Shower was okay. Short walk to a nice restaurant and bar with a great vibe. A little confusing with address, because you have to check-in at the above mentioned restaurant.

Was a lovely place and the scenery was great, however there was so much old accumulated dust under the rugs, couches, beds etc with our children sneezing the entire time we were there. The place needs a good vacuum and mop. In hotter months I would suggest more than just one small fan, the fan was also covered in dust.
