Exceptional location. Loved sleeping to the sound of the waves. Very comfortable beds and spacious room. Staff were friendly and attentive. Meal was high quality. I thought the drinks were expensive and over 300 % mark up on the wine was excessive

Overall a very nice stay. The taps in the kitchen and bathroom were very loose and the sliding door leaked during the night. But then again it is on the west coast! Restaurant was on the pricey side of things.

I liked the environs especially the view and sound of the sea. The restaurant was very adequate and of home quality. The bathroom is probably in need of renovation in the near future the fixed shower head was a challenge for my height 😅

The location of this hotel was my favorite in New Zealand. We had a large ground floor room with spectacular views of the ocean. The hotel is on the beach! Fantastic beach walk. Friendly and helpful staff. Wash/dryer available, free and convenient on site parking.

The beds were very comfortable with a restaurant that served delicious food on site. We had a room with a beautiful view of the sea where we could easily go for walks. Location was superb. Highly recommend this place.

Loved the location of this hotel. Lovely room equipped with everything we needed. Situated on the beach just down the road from Pancake Rocks, well worth a visit. Would recommend to anyone wanting to spend some time in the area. Ate dinner at their restaurant as there is not much around as an alternative, it was lovely just a little expensive but considering how remote it is, it was expected. Loved that the beach was at our door step

Room was basic with limited supplies. Smaller balcony than we expected. No table on balcony. Definitely need insect repellant as there are biting sandflies galore.
