## Emplacement
Nestled between the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and the Massif des Maures, Grimaud is a charming village with a medieval character still present. Perched on a hill, the first thing you see when you arrive is his castle. Built in the 11th century, this feudal building, with its imposing ruins, has a magnificent view of the coast and the wooded hills of the Maures massif. Rich of a heritage still preserved, Grimaud shelters a succession of pretty cobbled and flowery streets, small squares, arcades and restored old houses. In the old village, you can also discover the beautiful church Saint-Michel of the end of the 12th century, of Provencal Romanesque style, which houses a fresco dated 1850 representing Saint Michel, Saint Pierre and Saint Barthélemy, as well as contemporary stained glass windows made in 1975 by the jeweler Jacques Gautier. Near the village, from the Moulin Saint-Roch, the path leading to the Fairy Bridge will delight lovers of walks in the countryside, with its soothing setting and its magnificent view of the castle!
