Welcome to 'Bygningen', the first house you encounter in the charming village of Løvhaugen. This historic Finnish farmhouse, with its barn dating from 1812 and an earth cellar from the 1700s, offers you a unique opportunity to step into the fascinating history of Finnskogen.





Inside the house, you will find a cozy dining room, a spacious kitchen, and an intimate living room. In the attic, there are two bedrooms, and the bathroom is equipped with all modern amenities. The crystal-clear spring water is an experience in itself, and the many windows let in the tranquility of nature.





The property includes several historic buildings, including an old barn, woodshed, and snow shed, all gathered around a traditional farmyard. To make your stay complete, berry pickers, hammocks, and hiking equipment are available for loan.





From the doorstep, you can explore Finnskogen's diverse network of hiking trails. Visit the Norwegian Forest Finn Museum just 15 minutes away, or treat yourself to a relaxing day at Finnskogtoppen Spa. For the adventurous, the historic Abbortjärnsberget forest is an hour's walk through the woods.
