Kirkjufell view cottages

I stayed here 4 times now and absolutely love these cottages! Great location just outside of Grundarfjordur...very quiet and peaceful with great views looking out to ocean, mountains/Kirkjufell, and beautiful sunsets! Cottage as everything you need even small stove plate on the kitchenette you feel like cooking. Hosts also great and reply in timely manner to emails.

We had a wonderful stay, the view is amazing with nature outside the front door, looking at the ocean, mountains and both Kirkjufell and the glacier when good weather. The cottage neighbors all showed respect making it a silent and relaxing stay. Highly recommend.

CWe loved our stay at Dis cottages – the view cannot be beat! The bed was comfortable, the shower had plenty of hot water. It was a great location for us between Grundarfjordur and Stykkisholmur when exploring the Snaefellness peninsula.
