Viajo a Guadalajara con frecuencia por negocios y para ver a mis amigos. Intenté reservar una habitación para el viernes, pero la aplicación falló y tuve que reiniciarla. Sin embargo, no me di cuenta de que al reiniciar la aplicación la fecha se cambiaba automáticamente a hoy. Había habitaciones disponibles el viernes y estaba dispuesto a pagar cualquier diferencia. Intenté cambiar la fecha, pero el sistema no pudo hacerlo en línea y me indicó que un agente de Expedia debía llamar al hotel para aprobarla manualmente. Desafortunadamente, lo que debería haber sido un pequeño problema se convirtió rápidamente en una pesadilla. Primero, tuve que hacer dos llamadas y esperar más de una hora para descubrir que no podían cambiar manualmente las fechas de la reserva (al parecer, el personal que trabajaba ese día no estaba muy bien capacitado). Luego, tardé otra hora en comunicarme con un gerente, quien se negó incluso a aprobar un reembolso por la cancelación, lo que me habría permitido iniciar una nueva reserva para el viernes. Soy miembro Platinum de Expedia y viajo a Guadalajara con frecuencia. Iba a añadir este hotel a mi lista de alojamientos preferidos, lo que probablemente significaría que recibirían más reservas este año, sin mencionar el dinero del servicio de habitaciones, la comida y otras cosas. Pero el gerente de turno quizás prefirió usar mi dinero para una fiesta de margaritas. Espero que lo disfruten, porque no recibirán más de mí.
