This hotel was a former ninety. The rooms are identified as names rather than number. The building is old; however, the staff was exceptional and kept the building incredibly clean. The surrounding areas appeared to be unsafe, but we did not encounter any problems other than a pan handler here and there. The room could use a small refrigerator to keep water and beverages cold. A fan is needed as well. Can’t praise enough about the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. We would consider to stay at this location again because of the staff.

100% Recommend, Clean, safe, beautiful, you feel like home. Bed is so comfortable ❤️❤️. The only thing, city super slow, if you are like us in hurry slow down a little bit. Bad thing no early coffee, but Hotel view and amazing restaurant inside, Good people!!! The uber service is amazing if you want to go anywhere from there recommend!! They take care of you and my recommendation let them suggest and listen, they know the best places!!!

GREAT hotel. The best part was the history of hotel. I would like to thank the staff ESPECIALLY "Iker" for sharing the history of the hotel. I just love hearing about each area. Also, I like to thank the night staff especially concierge that help me after my fall at a Dia de los Muertos event. They guide us to local hospital and was attentive to all my needs. I will be definitely recommending this hotel to others. Sr. Belen room was beautiful. Until next time.

Fantastic Boutique Hotel.

This boutique hotel is in the heart of the city and an easy walk to historical square as well as shopping and restaurants.The front desk staff Ifer and Salma were very welcoming, engaging and always helpful. Marco and the cafe staff are top notch. The light fair served is delicious.

It's a beautiful property, well maintained, tastefully decorated and a very relaxing ambiance. It's a very quiet location with several patios. Our room was a gorgeous marble room with tile floor, very high ceilings & black out curtains. There is an interesting history behind Palpatio so it's not your typical hotel, but more like an open style colonial mansion. The caveat is that there are no elevators, but it shouldn't pose an issue for most guests because it's only a three-story building & staff will help carrying luggage up. Palpatio Hotel can hook you up with trustworthy drivers from the airport to the hotel & also rides from hotel to anywhere in town. We arrived at the airport at 11:39 pm & had our safe ride to the hotel. There was great communication with hotel staff both before check-in & during our stay. There's a restaurant on-site that serves amazing breakfast for a reasonable price, but you can also walk to Guadalajara's historic Centro. You won't regret staying at the Palpatio Hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed, which made the experience feel very welcoming. The rooms and common areas were spotless, showing a real commitment to cleanliness and comfort. One of the things I appreciated most was how quiet it was—I was able to get a peaceful night’s sleep without any disturbances. The food was another highlight; every meal I had was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, making dining here a real treat. On top of all that, the hotel’s location is excellent—convenient to local attractions and easy to get around from, yet still tucked away enough to feel calm and relaxing.
