We had an awesome stay at this resort. It was clean and felt very safe, with quite a bit of security. It was relatively small but had everything you needed and made meeting up with a big group very easy. I stayed in what was, I'm pretty sure, the furthest possible room from the main area and we were still only about a 3 minute walk away. The staff was mostly great. The bartenders in the Sports Bar were awesome, however there were some bartenders that could be a bit rude and didn't seem like they wanted to be there at all. The pools were clean, but there was almost never any staff at the swim-up bar which made that amenity pretty much irrelevant. It was also very difficult to find chairs, we would have to lie on towels on the sand most days until people started leaving. The buffet was good, not crazy extensive but we could always find something to eat. We had one vegetarian friend with us who had to eat pretty much the same thing every day. We went to the Dominican restaurant which was VERY similar to what the buffet had, but the Mediterranean restaurant was amazing. There were so many options and it was all really delicious. We were not able to book any more restaurants because you had to get up very early and could only book the same night so there were usually no available options to book. Despite the few inconveniences, the resort was great and if you have a bad vacation here it would likely be extenuating circumstances or you have a very negative attitude.

You have to speak Spanish because only very few staff members speak English or any other language It is very difficult to get a towel. We waited over 2 hours for towels twice in one week. The blue beach towels get stolen and you have to pay $20 for a rag towel that I would not even use for my dogs The Mediterranean restaurant has only Italian meals and you have to be down stairs no later then 8 am to even make reservations. Same with beach chairs. The buffet was not bad but every night the same food was not cool. There is not enough seating and if you get a seat you wait forever to get a drink. We will not be coming back

This property had the best beach area. Wide and plenty of natural shade. Plenty of sun too if you want it. Staff was great. We were well taken care of. Room clean and well kept. Wish balcony furniture was more comfortable. I don't usually comment on food because that is so subjective, but nothing was hot. Could step it up in this area.

I stayed at this resort for nine unbearable days, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst travel experiences of my life. The service was beyond terrible, completely unprofessional, and lacking even the most basic standards of quality. To start, the front desk’s employees were outright disrespectful, showing no interest in helping guests or making the stay even remotely pleasant. The manager is absolutely unfit for customer service—rude, dismissive, and completely incapable of handling guest concerns. Instead of resolving issues, she made them worse with her condescending attitude. The entire resort is poorly managed and doesn’t deserve more than one stars at best. The rooms are outdated and barely maintained, the food is low-quality and repetitive, and the overall atmosphere is far from what a real resort should offer. Cleanliness is questionable, and basic amenities are either missing or in terrible condition. If you value your money, time, and sanity, DO NOT stay here. This place is a scam that should be avoided at all costs.

Room very clean and renovated but no drawers to empty the luggage no separation in the bathroom between the shower and the rest of the bathroom and the floor is flat so it's a mess. Thee beach very nice i love it crystal water. Food at the buffet is decent except Sunday night was very good foot really was like a party and the dinner at the restaurant was good butt you have to be in a long line in the morning every other day to book one day took me 10 minutes the other day 25 minutes. The place at general smaller than pictures but I like it has everything you need. Maybe I will go again but I will take my beach towels with me

I would like to start by saying that I never went to the resort. I canceled the resort because it was too far from the airport, Expedia said that they would handle the cancellation. By the time I received correspondence from them it was too late for the resort to be canceled. I would’ve done the cancellation on my own but I was told by Expedia, to allow them to get me a full refund which they didn’t. Moral of the story I’m out out $400 and still had to pay $700 for another resort

Beautiful beach. The room was spacious but towels in room were old and there were no facecloths. The air conditioner leaked, but they sent someone to fix it right away. The staff were courteous and friendly. There was a very relaxing vibe. Buffet had a variety of food to choose from for all 3 meals. A La carte Mexican Restaurant was very good.

Pros: the bar staff and restaurant staff are incredible The beach is incredible and clean Cons: -When you check in, nothing is explained to you, you have no idea how to get a reservation at a restaurant or where anything is, let alone the times things are open -the front desk has a QR code and all of the information is inaccurate -the front desk staff are not helpful, and they couldn’t even give me a receipt for what the hotel was going to charge me -my room had several mosquitos and I was bitten numerous times -the food all around is entirely terrible
