Gîte des Ducs de Guise - vue sur le Château fort

Cocoonr offers you this charming 160 m² house to rent in Guise. It overlooks the keep of the château fort de Guise and can accommodate up to 8 people.

It comprises a 50 m² living room, a fitted kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms (with shower and bath) and a garden of around 500 m². Wifi (fibre optics), bed linen and towels included, we're waiting for you!

The accommodation is as follows:
Ground floor:
- An open-plan kitchen with appliances including: electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, Tassimo coffee machine, dishwasher, hob, quartz worktop...
- A dining room
- Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer
- Bedroom 1: with queen-size bed (160×200)
- Bedroom 2: with two single beds (90x200) that can be joined together
- A retro-style shower room (with shower)
- Separate WC

First floor:
- A 50 m² living room with sofas, pool table with corks, overhead projector and board games available
- Bedroom 3: with a queen-size bed (160×200)
- Bedroom 4: with two single beds (90x200) that can be joined together and a TV
- A retro-style bathroom (with bath and WC)

For even greater comfort, the owners provide the following additional facilities: barbecue, high chair, cot, ironing board and iron.

Outside:
- A beautiful 500 m² garden with vegetable patch
- A 30 m² terrace with furniture and a table tennis table to make the most of the fine weather!

The house is ideally located in Guise, in very pleasant surroundings. You will be close to all the essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, a market, etc.

- Walks and hikes in the surrounding area
- Tasting of local produce
- Canoeing and kayaking approx. 2 km away
- Gastronomy fair (second weekend in November)

Gîte des Ducs de Guise "There were six of us staying (two couples, two toddlers) and this house was perfect for us. There's a double and twin room near each other both upstairs and downstairs, and a big lounge area upstairs. There is a bathroom on both floors as well. The garden is huge and safe for the little ones to run around. The neighbours are very quiet (it's a cemetery!) . Guise is a lovely town, you can easily walk to the castle or the bakeries/supermarket."

Beautiful and spacious

We had a wonderful stay in Guise. We used it as a hub to travel to other cities in the area. The house was within walking distance to everything in Guise making it super easy to explore. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well designed. The upstairs den has a projector tv on the wall with nice sofas and comfortable hammocks open to the downstairs. Washer, dryer and dishwasher were very helpful. We loved the place overall. The only negative is that you can’t flush toilet paper in the toilet. If you aren’t used to doing that, it’s gross. And I feel like the owner should have supplied extra trash bags for the small bins like that to make it easier to empty. There were only 3 of us and this house can hold many more people - with more bathroom usage. But we didn’t complain - just something to be aware of. The owner did supply plenty of toilet paper so that was nice.

L'accueil de notre hôte, Eve, à été très chaleureux et nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis comme chez nous. Literie absolument parfaite. Commerces accessibles à pied.
