I had a three day stay. I do not like the new way hotels are going by not have closets and drawers to put your clothes in. The floor had some sort of oily coating on it and couldnt walk barefoot on the floor and it was slippery with shoes. Housekeeping came too late in the day. I needed my room cleaned and left for half a day and came back and they hadnt even come by yet. TV channels did not come in good and at some point none of the channels worked. I had to sign into my Netflix account to watch TV. I went to get a muffin one morning at 7 am and they were already out. Not a good place for an extended stay.

The bathroom and toilet was horrible look like it haven’t been cleaned since opening day.. There was some type of bug that bite my grand child and all they said was it ain’t a bed bug and you have one of the better rooms we have to offer on the first floor🙄 Not the best way to spend 560 dollars but hey we got to enjoy ourselves on the beaches.

First appearance, it looked ok. Upon further inspection, it is not kept up well. The property was dirty and the building had bad smells as soon as you walked in, and the walls are very thin. Heard a baby crying all night one room over. The air conditioning screeched all night long. We stayed one night and forfeited our money and spent the rest of our stay at a hotel in gulf shores. We also did not appreciate congregations of other patrons hanging out in the hallways on the upper levels of the building. Made it very uncomfortable to navigate back and forth.

Hands down, this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There was only one person working the desk, and she had to leave 2 separate guests at the check-in counter to locate a luggage cart for another guest. Our room didn’t have a refrigerator or a telephone. No ice bucket either. The TV didn’t have cable\satellite nor did it have internet to even watch our own subscriptions…nothing! The grab and go breakfast was a joke. But worse than that, there was a man (employee? owner?) who monitored every single thing anyone did at breakfast. He reprimanded a young father for using the ice machine for a baby bottle. It was ridiculous. Luckily, we only booked a single night.

My experience was horrible. Would not recommend this place unless you want to be up all night due to banging noises, etc. and your air in your room may halfway work when it wants to on hot summer days. I came to the hotel after booking a month prior with notes added that I needed rooms side by side due to children, upon arrival they only had me for 1 room, looked in the system and had to go back and I basically had to get what I could, it was a room in between the 2 rooms, and it was not what was asked for and this was put in the NOTES a month prior! They offered to put in the notes for manager so they could give me a discount off the room when I checked out, which they forgot about and I had to explain the entire story over again so that she could pull up the account and give me 100 off of 2 rooms for 5 nights… smh..Had I known after driving almost 6 hours to get there that I would experience that on top of the carpet NEVER was vacuumed in the 5 days so I’m sure it never gets done on a regular, the sitting chair was still dirty, and the air conditioner would blow cool/ that’s it! 5 nights of sweating, 5 nights no sleep due to noise every night all night. Even my children complained to me about the unknown banging. It is not worth the hassle, only if you plan on 1 overnight stay.

I booked this for my friends who where finishing a vacation and the wife was rushed to the hospital and ended up dying. I tried for a close hotel to the hospital so the family could come and go. Hospital staff told them of mold and bugs at this hotel after I had booked for them. Upon arrival they found used q tips and tampons on the bathroom floor, as well as stained bed spreads. They left immediately. I really feel a refund is in order

The location was great proximity to the Wharf Amphitheater which is the reason we booked a last minute room. The room appeared clean on arrival, but when we hopped in bed that night, our sheets had sand in them. We didn’t go to the beach at all on our trip, so not happy about that. The AC worked great, and it was pretty inexpensive. I wouldn’t stay there again.
