Spend a memorable vacation in this newly renovated and furnished two-bedroom, two-bathroom single-family home just a few steps to the beach. The recent renovation includes a brand-new kitchen, flooring, and furnishings throughout. Feels like a chic brand-new home in an established, yet private, beach neighborhood. The house is third row and a short walk to the beach and is on a very quiet and private side street. You can park in the private beach access parking for one car. You will have access to Cabana Beach’s private white sand beach that will give you plenty of room to stretch out and relax.

Vaulted ceilings in the living room and numerous windows throughout the home brighten the rooms and create a sense of space that guests will appreciate. The living room and both bedrooms are equipped with flatscreen TVs and wireless internet is available throughout the home. From sunbathing to grilling, the private deck is sure to offer plenty of enjoyment for your stay. Guests will also have the added advantage of the home's great location for serving as a home base for exploring Gulf Shores. The first bedroom has a large closet, a comfortable bed (with a new memory foam mattress), a private balcony, and a private bath with a jetted tub. The second bedroom has another comfortable bed, two full-size beds, and a private balcony. The home has a large front porch, a large washer and dryer, and brand-new high-end appliances.

The house is just two miles east of the Kiva Dunes Public Golf Course and seven and a half miles west of the Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club. Spend a day exploring the historic Fort Morgan State Historic Site and museum, just 10 miles away, and on the way home, grab a delicious seafood meal at Tacky Jacks or Sassy Bass Amazin' Grill. The heart of Gulf Shores, including a ton of bars and restaurants, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, and Pirate's Island Adventure Golf, is only 14 miles east. There is a great local small grocery/liquor store and gas station at the entrance to the neighborhood less than a mile away.

Overall, the stay was very pleasant and the house was comfortable. The location was great, and communication with the host was easy and efficient. It will definitely be one of our options on our next trip to the region. A few minor details that could use some improvement include the small dining table, which was difficult to clean (I recommend bringing a tablecloth), and the outdoor area, which needs more attention. The backyard was not as well trimmed as in the pictures, and we could not make some downstairs lights work.

This was our second time staying in this house. It worked well for our family. The only issue we had was that the Beach Parking Pass was expired and we were not provided with a current one during our stay. Fortunately, the community member who verified we were staying on the property was very understanding and allowed us to park even though the pass was expired.

I really wish I could give this home more stars. The location is great. Easy walk to the beach. The home was clean(ish): crumbs and sand on rugs, spots on sofa, pillows and blankets, rims of bathroom sinks. The furniture through out the home is all around very uncomfortable: sofa, dining set (meant for outdoors- a bistro table does not allow four people to eat comfortably). Highly recommend you bring your own pillows and bedding. The ones provided are cheap quality and uncomfortable. Check-out instructions asked you to strip the beds, upon doing so there were spots of blood on pillows used all week. The shower in the master is terrible: the shower head desperately needs replacing and the tub is dangerous to enter and exit. Huge balcony, but only two cheap plastic chairs. Outdoor space needs major updating. We enjoy sitting outside, but the yard was so overgrown, causing mosquitoes to be an issue.

Cute, quiet, close to beach

Cute, and very quiet home in a more private neighborhood away from the busy. Would definitely stay again! The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes and it was nice not staying near all the nightlife with children. Pet friendly option was amazing because I didn't have a dog sitter. Very clean!

Great property--especially for birders--needs touch up

The only thing keeping this property from being 5-Star is a day or two of a handyman's time and a couple hundred dollars. Great location. Superb for birding. But we stayed here last year and it's declining through neglect. Needs a pressure washer in places (master balcony especially) and some minor fixes that are detracting from its overall quality. I'm happy to pay this price point, but it shouldn't have these minor issues. Sad to see. Hopefully it will get the spruce up it needs. If you are looking for a house where you can passively bird, there's no better spot and it's conveniently located to Fort Morgan and other hotspots.

Overall, I will not stay here again, and the jury is out on whether I’d stay at a Vacasa property again. 1. The house is described as being newly renovated, but the bathrooms haven’t seen an update in recent years. This wouldn’t be so much of an issue if the current state had been well-maintained, but that’s not the case. The showerheads are terrible in both bathrooms, there’s no drain plug in the sink of the hallway bathroom. The shower curtain in the master bath was literally hanging by three hooks. Bugs are coming in around the window of the tub. The toilet seat in the master bath is so old that it looks nasty. The tiles look nasty (based on the cleanliness of the rest of the house, they may actually be nasty, but it’s difficult to determine if it’s just because they’re old). I honestly felt like I was in a gas station bathroom while at this home. 2. The overall cleanliness was lacking. Many of the dishes had dried food left on them. Cups had been stacked and put up while wet, so they were slimy. Kitchen drawers had “crusties” all in them. Rugs dirty. 3. The YARD. I rented this house specifically because it was pet-friendly, but when the grass in the yard is taller than my dogs (and they’re not little), where am I supposed to take them to potty? I had to walk to grassy areas in OTHER yards that were actually maintained. So disappointed.

Great Family Trip

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house. We were walking distance (but drove. few times when there was parking available) from a private beach entrance where we watched the fireworks show from the beach club up close. Home was clean and exactly as expected. It was perfect!

Start with good : Nice location, close to the beach (5 min walk), property clean, kitchen properly staffed, everything functional in the house, a bunch of streaming services available on TV. Negatives: The fuze for downstairs power outlets needs to be replaced, no power under the house. Golf cart is in non-functioning state, one of the battery cables corroded and detached from the batery (under the seat). No key to golf cart was available.This was not communicated to us prior to arrival. Moreover, when I reached out to Vacasa Alabama office- they were completly unaware of the situation.

Its indicated top rate for cleanliness but definitely not!

Unfortunately, I spent the first day cleaning the home as the dust was overwhelming bad! The jet tub had mold along the grouting, hard water stains and rust in both showers. They did update the livingroom and kitchen areas but the bedrooms and bathrooms need work. I booked this home for the beach and the large jet tub but could not relax with the yuck around me so i didnt even try. Strangely, there we hornets that kept showing up in the master bath tub - until i put the plug in the drain so im thinking there was a nest down the drain but im not sure. Unfortunately, we will not be back bc of the lack of cleaning and the fact that they didnt make right by the situation. They said they would but i never got a call back, just a few texts apologizing for the lack of cleanliness. I was told i would get a phone call to in order to make the situation right but never did. If you have allergies to dust - i do not recommend staying here. Also, we were there for three days and they left us ONE garbage bag! They do not have the little extra things so make sure you bring what you need, as the property probably wont have it. Felt more like a hotel was running it than any of the other properties we have stayed at. We are pretty disappointed with this company and the home.

Beach home

Nice house, very clean. Very short walk to Beach, so great location. Nice decks all around house. Had some quirks, some light switches were in odd places, Master bath plugs didn’t work. Golf cart wasn’t working, but we were told before check in, so we did know that. All in all it was a great stay, would def book there again.

Beach trip

The house was very clean and was exactly as advertised. Even with the house next door, it felt very private. I appreciate bei g able to take my pups on vacation. The golf cart was great to drive to the beach. We will definitely be back.

While the location and private beach were quite good, the property manager (Vacasa) was horribly unresponsive to the main issue of the golf cart not working. If you are going to list that as an amenity, it should be in working order. It was not taking a charge and would not work the entire week, despite multiple attempts to ask for maintenance to look into it. It would seem Vacasa Fort Morgan staff would rather ignore the guest they have already collected from. The grill was poor as were any grilling tools on hand, which were minimal. Again, don't brag about it if it is nothing special. The living/sleeping/kitchen areas were in good shape, but the bathrooms could use some work. Again, the location was great and the private beach was perfect for our family get away, primarily the customer service of Vacasa was to blame for this review.

Enjoyed the stay

Quiet private neighborhood with close access to the beach. The beach was pretty and not crowded (we visited in mid-July). The house is a couple blocks from the beach, so plan to drive to the private neighborhood parking area (golf cart didn't work for us). Quiet mornings and star gazing on the deck were a common treat. House was nice. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen. Washer/dryer came in handy. House is a good distance from Gulf Shores (~20 min drive), but there are a couple restaurants and small markets near the house that were frequented.

Great house!

The location of the house it great! It is around 1 block or so from a private beach and the golf cart that is included with the house makes that 1 block a breeze. The golf cart dis say it had a full charge, but ended up dying about half way to the beach, so we had to push it back, we made sure to let it charge all night and worked perfect the next day. The toilet seat plastic cover was broken when we got there, went to lift up the lid and it came off in my hand. The master bedroom shower sprayer could definitely use an upg ade, but overall it was a great experience. Thank you fo letting us rent your lovely home!
