Strait Chillin is a beautiful four-bedroom, four-bath home located directly across the street from the beach! Public beach access is within walking distance. The home is part of East 11 Cottages, a quiet community featuring an outdoor pool (not heated) in the heart of Gulf Shores.

Unit Features:

• Access to the balcony is from the living room and primary bedroom

• Vinyl wood plank flooring is throughout the home

• Fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for a home-away-from-home; dining room table seats eight with three additional barstools

• Full-size washer and dryer are inside the home

• Living area has a sofa sleeper

• Primary bedroom has a king-size bed

• Second bedroom has a queen-size bed

• Third bedroom features two twin-over-full bunk beds and an attached bath (*Children six years or younger should not be permitted on the top bunk)

• Fourth bedroom on the first level with a king-size bed and a shared bath

• No waiting in long lines for check-in or check-out

• Maximum of four cars allowed to park under the home; no boats, watercraft, campers, or trailers allowed

• Absolutely NO SMOKING on the property

• Guests must provide their own charcoal for the grill located underneath the home

$400 FREE Activities Daily-Guests will receive one complimentary admission to our select activities per day. You can go to every one of these activities every day, and one person will be free per day. Additional guests will pay full price. Admissions are non-cumulative and non-transferable. Unused admissions expire daily.

So yes, you may choose to go fishing in the morning (one person is free), then golf at lunch (one person is free), and then go to the zoo that afternoon (one person is free). Or you may choose to go to the zoo in the morning with the kids (one person is free), and your husband can play golf (one person is free) and then meet that afternoon to go on the dolphin cruise (one person is free.) You may do some or all of these select activities every day, and one of your parties is free every day.

These activities are yours to use if you choose to do so at no additional cost or obligation.

We had such a great stay at Strait Chillin! The check-in process was super easy and the house was perfect for our family. I believe we had 12 people at the most during the two weeks. Some came and went and some stayed the whole time. The pool was nice and very rarely were there many people in it. The location to the beach was fantastic. About a 5 minute walk from the house to the water. The house was spacious enough for all of us and the kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed! Thank you for providing a very nice property. We would love to stay there again if we come back to Gulf Shores.

Great location, was able to check in four hours early and have no issues with getting in touch with property manager to change the door codes a few times. Everything was great other than the beds.. the beds were awful, they all felt like sleeping on the floor and the pillows/linens were so rough and hard. It was the worst beds any of us had ever slept on. We all said we would have been better off on an air mattress than the beds at the property. If sleep and comfort is a big deal I would not book this property. Other than that everything was great.

8 of us that graduated from high school in 1975 at Evansville WI frequently take trips together and this was awesome. Close proximity to beach , pool on property and unit was very clean and beautifully decorated. Would definitely come back.

My family and I just finished out stay and we really enjoyed ourselves and our time. The location of the house is perfect- quiet and away from the hustle of the main streets but close enough to walk to plenty of places. The beach is a very short walk from the house, but I do recommend a beach wagon to make it as easy as possible! The house itself was clean and spacious for all 13 of us! I also recommend you bring any extra blankets as the ones provided are a little thin, but overall nothing to complain about. There were plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, and other kitchen supplies. Our ONLY complaint was the ice maker had a hard time keeping up, so bring a bag of ice or two to make life easier. All in all, 10/10 recommend this house!

We had 13 in our group! It was absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful! Not far from the beach. Each walk, and close enough for our teens to walk around and see things! The house was beautiful, had great communication with the property managers, kids loved the pool outside and wr just had the best time! Will definitely be coming back!

Spring Break 2024

Our stay at this property and in Gulf Shores was fantastic. We traveled with 3 families and a total of 13 people (adults and children). This house fit us all comfortably and was just a quick walk across the street from the beach. It was alos great to have the pool just off the porch. We would definitely come back!

Double Family Vacation

Our stay was amazing! Everything was spotless and very easy to check in and out. While we were there celebrating 2 college graduates, we also celebrated 2 birthdays, 2 babies’ first time at the beach, and an engagement on the beach (which was right across the road) making our stay very memorable!
