Making Memories

Decided to take my elderly parents, daughter and husband to beach for the weekend. Turned out to be one of the best weekends that we have had in a very long time. We could not have asked for a better host. Mr. Mangen was pleasant, attentive, and accommodating. The home is beautiful and the location is ideal. We look forward to returning.

Charming Perfect Location

This was the perfect spot! A short Walking distance to the beach, coffee/breakfast house, the aquarium, and great restaurants. The front porch was a bonus for relaxing, drinking coffee and reading.

Downtown Gulfport Trip

Quick vacation during Memorial Day. Walking Distance to Shaggys and several other attractions. It was very close to the aquarium and downtown Gulfport. Nice beach home with a view just off Hwy 90.

The pictures of the unit were great online and the outside was nice. The inside was a bit musty smelling, especially under the kitchen cabinets. The oven took a long time to heat up our chicken (2 hours) and I had to keep turning up the temperature. The kitchen chairs were very unstable and we had to sit still for fear they would break under us (and we're not big people). The one bathroom sink cabinet I opened fell off. There was NO hot water in which to shower, I allowed it to run for at least 15 minutes, no hot water came out. The unit appeared dirty probably because it was very old and that bathroom and kitchen need some updating. The one good thing was the king size bed! And it was comfortable!! I also saw a homeless person in the neighborhood, lots of sirens at night. Glad we were only staying one night. The other plus was the response of the owner - we booked the bottom unit and he sent us the check in info for the top unit when I let him know he took care of it immediately - love the good customer service.

Great place to get away to. We could walk to get coffee in the morning, walk to the beach for the day, and then finish it off walking to dinner. Great location and property!!

Great Location

Property is within walking distance to some great restaurants and the Harbor Light Festival. Train track is located close by, so if you’re a light sleeper, you’ll certainly know it’s there. Property was precious and very clean.
