The airport shuttle was great and they worked around our schedule. The hotel is being well maintained. Our room was fine and yet they are in the process of updating everything. Hotel staff were helpful with dinner recommendations and getting us to exercise trails. It was a pleasure to be there. Downtown was an easy walk and we also walked to a great coffee shop. Walmart and city market grocery were right across Main Street from the hotel. All very convenient. You know it is a good spot when the flight crews stay there

The room was in OK condition – a bit worn and tired, but clean and functioned adequately. The toilet would run unless the handle was jiggled. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. The five stars are simply a matter of value for a family stay. The hotel was clean, TV and WiFi worked well, water was hot, hot tub was hot, and breakfast better than average. I kept waiting to experience the catch from such an unusually low price, but we never did. Is it a Ritz Carlton, no, but what one pays for juxtaposed with what one gets? Really quite good value we were happy with. The one area for improvement would be the pool, which was fairly frigid, but even that was fun next to the hot whirlpool, like an ice bath.
