Comfortable hotel in attractive surroundings

This is a clean and comfortable hotel in very attractive garden surroundings with welcoming restaurants and good food. The staff are experienced, kind and helpful. In November, the place was warm, quiet and well organised. There are two choices and two restaurants: the cheaper Auberge and the more expensive Hotel. The Auberge is probably priced correctly with a good value restaurant offering well cooked and interesting meals. The Hotel rooms need renovating to be worth the price charged. The bathroom had been modernised but the room décor was dated and the tired mattresses seemed to have been turned so that they were uneven. The Hotel restaurant is well arranged with good staff but the food at the evening meal was unexciting. Breakfast was nicely done.

délicieux refuge de verdure

la Gaichel est un délicieux nid de verdure, confort à l'ancienne, choix entre restaurant gastronomique ou brasserie conviviale. Service impeccable à l'hÎtel comme à l'auberge.. renseignez-vous sur le Wifi s'il vous en faut car pour ce séjour, rien de rien de ce cÎté.... et reconfirmez avec l'hÎtel directement car entre hotels.com et la Gaichel le courant ne passe pas bien...

L'extérieur de l'hÎtel peut interroger. Sommes nous bien au bon endroit ? La couleur rose des murs déconcerte. Mais une fois la porte passée, l'enchantement débute. Un accueil parfait. Un parc magnifique. Une chambre impeccable et trÚs confortable. Une salle de bain superbe (il ne manque que la baignoire balnéo) avec une grande baignoire et une douche à l'italienne tout aussi vaste. Et je ne parle pas encore du restaurant ! Un vrai ravissement pour les papilles et les yeux. Et le personnel de cet endroit mérite toute la considération qui lui est dûe. Aucune fausse note. Nous reviendrons !

NÀr vi skulle checka in var hotellet obemannat och man hade lovat att lÀgga ut nyckeln. Efter 20 minuters ringande till hotellets telefonnummer kom en person och öppnade och slÀppte in oss. Nyckeln lÄg i receptionen som var obemannad och lÄst bakom dubbla dörrar.

Receptionen var obemannad nÀr jag skulle checka in och de skulle dÀrmed lÀgga ut nyckeln vilket de inte hade gjort. Det tog ca 20 minuter innan personal anlÀnde och och kunde slÀppa in oss. Man kan frÄga sig om det Àr OK att ha ett obenannat hotell pÄ natten om det skulle krÀvas utrymning pga brand eller annan orsak...

Schönes Hotel fĂŒr Geniesser

Sehr schöne Lage in einem herrlichen Park. Die Zimmer sind individuell eingerichtet mit neu renovierten BĂ€dern. Alles sehr stilvoll! Das Restaurant (1 Guide-Michelin Stern) bietet exzellentes Essen, kreativ und perfekt zubereitet. Tipp: einen luxemburgischen Wein zum Essen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Hotel wird sehr familiĂ€r gefĂŒhrt, so dass wir uns sofort wohl und heimisch gefĂŒhlt haben.
