Nice and basic

We stayed one night to spend extra time with our grandson who lives in Haifa. The location is really nice, near a lot of cool cafes/bars/restaurants; seems like an up and coming area. The facilities are very basic and our room was smaller than the ones we saw online. Good: great bathroom lighting, good water pressure and an actual shower door so no bathroom flooding. Bed was pretty comfy, pillows not that great. The room (119) was clean and has a nice view of the port and sea. Not great was the kitchen with not even a cup or spoon or kettle, let alone plates or pots. Just a few paper cups and instant coffee packets. There is hot water and tea/coffee at the front desk. Staff was very nice and helpful. There are a few places open on Friday night, but absolutely nothing on Shabbat so be prepared and bring food. Perfect location for us to head north to Akko (large Muslim population, so almost everything is open there).

Good price and a quiet hotel that’s is ok for a place to crash for the night. However, the bathroom is filthy, and it isn’t in the beat location in Haifa.

The hotel is a 5-mins walk from the train station. The staff greeted me with a big smile. Stayed in a single room which is modest but clean and comfy bed.
