Beautiful home but horrible management
The house is beautiful. It's very clean. Very comfortable. The kitchen comes with everything that you need to cook meals or even grill. They had plenty of bath towels to go around, even a few beach towels to use pool side.
The bed in the master bedroom is horrible. The pillows are useless. We finally stuffed 3 pillows in one pillow case to make it worth using.
I would have to agree with the other review. There is no door on the master bathroom. You have to close the bedroom door for privacy. When my husband and I both showered before bed it made the bedroom very hot and humid. Makes it difficult to go to sleep right away.
The property manager is very difficult to work with. We messaged him through the VRBO app several times before leaving on vacation and never heard from him. I guess since there is a "no cancellation policy" he feels he doesn't need to follow up with you after your deposit. Once we arrived at the house we had several questions. We messaged him and emailed him and got no response. We finally called him. We had a difficult time talking to him because English is not his first language. There definitely is a language barrier there.
We paid for the pool to be heated
It never was. It never reached 85 degrees like he said. Please be advised that the sun stays in front of the house during winter and never touches the pool. Makes for very chilly winter days by the pool.
There are no directions for the hot tub. He told us it took 20 minutes to warm up. Once we found the dial. It took 30 plus minutes to get warm. It never reached "Hot Tub" temperature.
The VRBO app gave me a door code and then the property manager sent me a different door code. This was very confusing to us.
The wifi password was written down wrong. Took several trys to log on especially after we realized that the letters that were written in capital letters were supposed to be lower case.
The cable tv was not working once we arrived. Thank goodness my husband eventually figured it out for us.
We never did get the cable tv to work on the lanai.
Inside the house they supply you with house rules and regulations book. The VRBO app told me check in was at 3:00 but once we got to the house the rule book said 4:00. We had a late flight coming home so we emailed the property manager, and messaged him too and asked what time check out was because the VRBO app said 11 but the house book said 10am. He never responded to us. We left by 10. This house needs new management.
