Beautiful hotel. Great buffet. Great staff. A lot of places to relax. We have a tatoos but we still could use public onsen covering them with the special stickers provided by hotel. Also we had a free upgrade to the highest floor. Highly recommended.

I stayed at Ten Yu and really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely in-room tub that added a touch of luxury. The public onsen was beautiful and well-maintained—definitely one of the highlights of the stay. However, the hotel is quite far from the train station, which made getting there a bit inconvenient. Unfortunately, the food was also underwhelming and didn’t live up to expectations, especially given the overall quality of the property. Overall, a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the onsen experience.

Incredible hotel. Buffet dinner and breakfast are out of this world, so much choice, make sure you are hungry. Complimentary drinks and snacks on arriving too. 1 night not enough here 2 at least. We didn’t have time to use facilities

Private hot tub / onsen was amazing. Definitely hot enough. And the view was amazing of the forest nearby. When i stayed it a different time, i had a view of the mountains which was also amazing. Great food options, endless snow crab legs for breakfast was a nice touch!

The room was spotless and large, overlooking the mountains. The staff were amazing and extremely attentive always looking to be helpful. If the lobby is busy they still greet you at the door and lead you to a place to sit while waiting to check-in. The onsens were extremely clean and tidy. One staff member was usually present in the change room to tidy up and restock and also to walk through the onsens to ensure people were following the rules. The views from both public onsens were 10/10 (they swap male and female public onsens overnight so both onsens can be experienced). They also have unlimited free vending machine ice cream. Their dinner buffet may be the best thing I’ve ever eaten in Japan - I could’ve cried the first time I had their fatty tuna nigiri. I still think about the food at Tenyu weeks later. When you leave the staff wave goodbye and bow to your complimentary shuttle bus. Amazing service worth every penny. I’ll be back for sure!
