Whenever I go nainital, I prefer to stay in The Pavilion. Property location is very good,600-700 from main mall road. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is very supportive.
Food is delicious
I recently stayed at The Pavilion hotel and I was deeply disappointed. Family Suite room no. 119 was outdated, with peeling paint and a musty smell that never seemed to go away. The bed was uncomfortable, with dirty linens. The bathroom was in dire need of cleaning—there was mold in the shower.
I tried to get assistance from the front desk, but they were unresponsive. The Wi-Fi was spotty, and the breakfast they offered was below average. I’m extremely upset to report that my child’s jacket was ruined by a rat 🐀 at this hotel.
Overall, it's an outdated filthy property, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. For the price I paid, I expected much better service and quality. Definitely won’t be returning.
It was a nice stay but initially they did not give us a nice room, later they shifted us to a better room after a complaint.
They charged us for one more person, where as when I booked through you,I mentioned for three adults.

Visited with family and found this property outstanding in terms of reachability using car, ambience is open, away from Mall Road hustle, awesome food. Staff on reception was quite helpful and agreed to have few adjustments as there was a mistake while making online booking. Overall experience was awesome. Thank you

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
While booking a room for 3 they offer you a large room with two double beds but what we actually got was a double bed plus a substandard single cot in a small room. Towels and bedsheets poorly cleaned, smelling bathroom. Poor wi fi.
Location and dining options good.
Overall not worth 7000 per night .

It was a good stay...comfy clean room and excellent food..i wud recomend it for a nice stay in Nainital..
Walking from mall road to the hotel is a tiring job, you have to climb up to reach the hotel, overall a good property..
Cons..Check out time too early (10 am), no water temp.controller,it was too hot..Toilet stinks,
Pros..Good ambiance, front rooms were better maintained and cleanliness was better, breakfast was ok, ample parking, a small playground for children..Option of bakery
HOTEL LAYOUT IS GR EAT, STAFF SUPPORT IS GREAT,SERVICE IS FINE AS IT IS HIGH SEASON PERIOD THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THEIR ROOM CONDITION SPECIALLY DOORS AND MORE THEIR SHOULD BE ALTLEAST FAN IN ROOM AS SOMETIME WHEN IT IS SUNNY DAY IT GET HOT AS THEIR RESTAURANT(BAKER'S HUT) GOT A/C BUT THEIR ROOM EVEN DO NOT HAVE FAN IN IT.
Amazing place to visit mall road, lake and tibetan market, Lovers point, Himalayan darshan. Overall its a beautiful place to visit 2 or 3 days and visit offseason where you will not get too much crowd otherwise you will not enjoy. DON'T BOOK WITH EXPEDIA AS THEY ARE GIVING HIGH PRICES AS COMPARE TO OTHER WEBSITE AS I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY ARE NOT READY TO HELP AS WELL. I ADVISED DON'T BOOK WITH EXPEDIA
The staff at Reception is RUDE.
The voucher mentioned check-out time as 12.00 noon, but we got a rude call at 10 am on 16th of june, asking us to vacate the room immediately as a new guest was waiting to check-in. The reception argued that check-out time was 10.00 am and we have to vacate immediately. The staff started ringing the room bell and said they wanted to show the Room to a prospective guest. Eventually we had to hurry up and vacated the room at 11.00 am but the experience was horrible.

The quality of the bathroom was not good . Cleanliness of bathroom and condition of towels need a lot of improvement.
The hotel is far from the lake which was an issue. Also, the staff was rude when we checked in. They tried to be nice to us later. However, the most disappointing part was the condition of the hotel or at least the rooms we got. We booked standard rooms but everything was lousy there. We had to get the sheets, towels and blankets changed. Overall it wasn't a pleasant experience at all.

Far from the Madding Crowd
The overall experience has been quite satisfactory. The staff was courteous to upgrade our room category. Nice huge rooms with toiletries and fresh towels. Heater, which is a must in winters, was functional and effective. Running water was available throughout. Hot water was catered during the morning hours, when it is actually needed. In our case, there was quite a limited requirement of water and that too hot water. It snowed the entire early morning through till 9 am and one can imagine the state of affairs with the kids in our group going crazy.
The staff has been extremely friendly.
Bakers Hut which is a bakery outfit caters to some good mouth watering items and is quite handy being a part of the hotel.
Tucked in the Deodar forest, the hotel had a wild yet safe ambiance.
It would surely be an option to check in for availability when in Nainital next.
