Both rooms (bed and bath) were spotless abs the bed was super comfortable. Great to be able to purchase soap and get Chan’s to do laundry. Convenient to downtown. Despite all this it’s still only a drab but functional dorm room. Would stay here again as it is good value for price.

Great location for a very short visit to campus. The rooms are basically dorm style rooms, very basic. Corridors are noisy, despite quiet hours after 10.00 pm. Room rates could be lower, given how basic the rooms/services are.

This is a university dorm, not a traditional hotel. Besides being good value, it was very comfortable. You have access to all campus’s amenities: dining hall, sports plex, library, etc., and it is on the heart of the city. We oarked the car and walked most places during our six day stay.

I really liked this place and would definitely return. Quiet and pretty close to downtown (the bike share and bus stop is right next to the Risley residence). Gender neutral washrooms are ok, but there's no place to change in them so you're kinda forced to change in the shower or toilet stall. Would recommend providing more kitchen supplies in the lounge for cooking and eating. I think the hours should be later for dinner time at the dining hall (how about 6-9 range). Otherwise, I would definitely return.

Dalhousie summer accommodations were great. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. The dorms were quiet at night. The staff were friendly and addressed any concerns in a timely manner. The food was adequate. Good variety. Overall it was okay and a great price for a short stay in central Halifax.

I am Dalhousie Alumni, so I wanted to show my daughter the campus, I thought staying in the dorms would be fun. The service was great, but the room was less than mediocre for the price. $314 including tax for 2 nights. The shared washroom we knew about, and yes there were towels, but nothing else in the room. I feel like there can be more effort put in to the summer accommodations for the price they are expecting. I was grateful for the fans, as it was very hot. Nothing included. It used to be less expensive to stay in the dorms. Now, I would definitely opt for a hotel. I’m sorry for the negative review.
