Great stay in Halifax!

Really enjoyed staying at The Halliburton. The room was spacious and comfortable. Lovely courtyard/garden to relax in. The location was great for walking to the waterfront and exploring Halifax.

The unit we stayed in was one of 3 old townhomes converted to hotel rooms. Charming decor had all the amenities one would need including a Keurig coffee maker and a fridge. We stayed in the “petit” room and although it definitely was petit it’s all you need for a good nights sleep. We even had a private balcony which overlooked the back garden area. Limited parking is available around back with the Inn’s parking pass which is convenient although being on the third floor from the back lot it was a lot to navigate the narrow stairs with luggage. If you’re lucky street parking out front is a possibility. All in all a great stay and would stay there again.

This is a beautiful property in a convenient location in downtown Halifax. It is a historical property that feels very cozy and upscale. Tastefully and meticulously decorated and clean as a whistle. There is a beautiful shady garden out back where you can sit and enjoy a coffee or a happy hour drink. Parking on-site is free but a bit cramped, but their overflow lot (also free) is just a block away and I actually preferred it. The breakfast selection is a great value! $15 per person, and you can choose up to 5 items: different types of bagels, yogurt parfaits, banana bread, hard boiled egg, juice ... we couldn't finish it! If we're back in Halifax I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

It was a charming historical inn. The bed was very comfy bed and the inn is located very close to the waterfront for good access to dining, shops etc. The only negative was finding a place to park whilst checking in, however, once checked in staff directed us to their assigned off-site parking which was perfect. Overall a lovely inn, we would stay again.

Rooms are small and decorated in old style. Staff was very welcoming and helpful and hotel is close to harbour front, but rooms are a little cramped and you can hear doors from other rooms and conversations in the hallways.

Very nice boutique hotel. Beautiful antique decor and comfortable rooms. All of the staff were fantastic and could not do enough for you. Lots of outdoor space to relax and have coffee or glass of wine. Perfectly located to the boardwalk and easy to walk around the city. Would highly recommend.

This was a great place! It was very close to the boardwalk and all that Halifax has to offer. The staff was amazing and super friendly, and the 24 hr front desk came in handy. We did not try the breakfast, but having the option was convenient. The terrace at the back was gorgeous. Their parking is limited, but we never failed to find a parking spot!
